Can anyone who watches him regularly update on his play of recent? I see he has similar point totals to last year. How has he developed so far this year compared to last?

If the OHL stats page is correct, only 28 of his 100 points came on the PP. That would mean he had 82 ES points in 64 games, which is pretty damn impressive.

Hopefully Hancock can make an AHL team next year. I'd like Suzuki back at C. His old coach, who is now an assistant with the Knights, believes him to be a natural 2 way center.

For some reason he's gotten an undeserved reputation as a flashy perimeter player that can't play defense.

when do you guys think Suzuki will make the Golden Knights?
I traded for him in a Dynasty League. very excited to watch him play in the NHL

Wont get more than a 9 game try out this year, if he's lucky. Probably gets some call ups next year. Full time roster player by 2020-2021 season. I drafted him in both my keepers. Looking foward to it.

was hoping sooner than that. either way no way im moving him i think hes going to be a stud. some AHL seasoning could do wonders though. we will see how he does thoughout training camp. ill keep a close eye on him. I know Cody Glass is higher on the list, but after this season I feel he should be at the same level as Glass now.

He will still be a couple years away atleast.. More junior time and AHL time IMO he will need.. Which is totally fine

Never know tho!

If he has a good camp, you never know. Really depends on the summer he’s had and if he can physically handle the speed and physicality of the NHL.

Let's search for clues here to see if Suzuki is such a meh prospect cause he is a Habs player now.

Yeah, let’s wait and see.

You know one thing we won’t have to wait for? Habs fans suddenly jumping into this thread with a victim complex complaining about how everybody (or, in this case...nobody) is rushing in here to devalue their prospect. But I suppose saying Suzuki is a great NHL prospect but not at the level (in the eye of the majority) of Gabe Vilardi or Robert Thomas is now suddenly considered a slam and attack?

Habs fan here. I agree he is slightly below Thomas or Vilardi. I really wanted one of those guys. But Suzuki is ahead of many of the returns people thought we would get. I suggest this trade is actually pretty fair and right in the middle of what Habs fans wanted and other fans insisted they would get.
