Scores 3 of 4 in the shootout for the win.
What a moment!

Canada's only 2 goals in regulation and only 3 goals in the shootout (went 3 for 4). Including the goal to ice it. Just unreal...
The kid has that it factor. Reminds me of a middle-ground of Marner and Jeff Skinner. Weaker skater than both of them, but everything else is unreal. Unreal IQ, hands, shot and passing. He should be in the discussion for 2 right now.
This upcoming draft is looking VERY promising, especially since the season hasn't even started yet...
I like this comparison. I didn't have the Marner comp, but from watching him this tournament, he reminded me (both just in physical appearance on the ice, way he skates and goal scoring ability etc.) a lot of Jeff Skinner with better playmaking skills. Also not a blazer like Skinner, but really good edges on the rush and in tight. The kid has that it factor. Reminds me of a middle-ground of Marner and Jeff Skinner. Who was the last small player with skating below above-average that went in the top five?
Sam Reinhart is pretty average in size and skating ability
Cole perfetti is 17, Sam reinhart is 23Reinhart is 6’1 192. Perfetti is 5’10 185.
Cole perfetti is 17, Sam reinhart is 23
Using reinharts current size is pointless. What’s your point? I think saying Reinhart is a smaller player is not accurate.
Yo
His hands are steady, mind's quick, shot is deadly
Led his team in scoring already, Cole Perfetti

DeBrincat is 4th in scoring in his draft class. Although he wasn't drafted top 5, some would have him there in a redraft and he was criticized at the time for size and skating.Who was the last small player with skating below above-average that went in the top five?
