How is it he can be so injured where his play has dramatically suffered but yet its nothing for his coach or parents to worry about if he still plays while injured?

And if his play has suffered so badly due to injury , how does continuing to play help his team mates or his draft position?

Either you come up with excuses for all that or accept the more obvious choice that he just isnt playing well.

How is playing through injury helping his team? Well, for starters he's still over a point per game in the playoffs. Do you need any other examples of how he's helping?

I hope Arizona takes Strome, he's a great player, they deserve him. He's been my choice prospect this whole year, big fan.

That Coyotes team is going to be cooking with gas. Size up the middle, puck movers on the blueline, and high-octane offensive talent coming up the ranks. Having a big, strong #1C goes a long way out West, and Strome is their guy. Count on him to be a point producing machine one day, a la Spezza in his prime.

Strome's gonna have a lot to work with, too. Guys like Domi, Duclair, Dvorak, etc. are all top notch spects that can bury the pill. If they draft Dylan, and everything goes according to plan, they've got themselves a #1 C and #1 D, and potentially a couple top line wingers.

Great chance to set up the team's framework with this draft.

I would never trust HF ever to scout players lol. One week they are god, the next a bust.

Two months ago this board would argue that Strome is the next Toews/Thronton and Provorov should go ahead of Hanifin.

Hate on Crouse who is a much better prospect than Barzal who this board is in love with.

Also funny how the players got hyped until they looked like they could be leafs. Strome is a bust already, lets wait to see if Arizona takes Strome or Hanifin and leafs take Hanifin or Marner. I bet suddenly Strome is elite and the leaf prospect is terrible.

I've found some posters on here who I agree with and I think their views stay pretty consistent so I try to watch for their posts. It's what keeps me coming here.

Those poor Leafs Fans...always feeling sorry for themselves. Do people really believe this?

And where is the Strome to Arizona info coming from? Official sources or speculation?

The Strome hate has nothing to do with him potentially being picked by the Leafs. As for disproving your argument, look no further than William Nylander.

Someone who has had inside info about the Coyotes in the past said it is pretty much a done deal. He has been right about a few others things no one outside the Org. knew, so we are open to taking him at his word.

Doesn't matter whether he's injured or not tho, for his age he has been fine. Points wise he's done no worse then guys like Stamkos, RNH & Seguin in their draft years.. Not saying he's that kind of talent, but normally in the CHL playoffs guys already drafted are the ones who dominate.

He might be putting up points somehow, but he has looked absolutely atrocious these playoffs. Everyone is claiming he is injured because he looks like he can barely move on the ice.

I think ive notice him maybe once or twice this playoffs. Even in his good games hes bascially doing average. For me to classify a top talent as having a good game they have to really stick out.

Hes either blended in at best, or looked bad out there

This.

Looking at the stats (and draft ranking) you'd expect Strome to be the catalyst of a huge offensive line. He looks like a passenger to me.

Apparently, from someone who has had inside information about the Coyotes in the past, Strome should start looking for a place in Arizona.

Inside info with no source. I think Strome should do some background checking on this mysterious insider before he makes any travel plans.

Strome is dealing with an underlying factor that the public will find out about following the conclusion of the playoffs.

For those just tuning in now, Strome is not 100%, and judging him off a sample size as small as a playoff series is, to put it loosely, far-fetched.

Would love to see a comment from "scout/stats consultant" Dave Hahn on this. He assured us Strome was injured (or sick). His reputation is on the line.

I don't get what someone who has information about the Coyotes has to do with Strome needing to background check someone. Nor do I see why anyone would make this up. You also must have looked past the post where I said this person has been correct in the past about information that wasn't anywhere to be found.

I don't even understand the purpose of your post... to use a gif, maybe?

I haven't had a chance to watch this game tonight as my focus is on the Rangers-Caps game.

How has Strome been? Making an impact?

I'm just skeptical which is a reasonable response considering there is no source for this information other than a nameless individual. If I had posted that someone who has been right about the Leafs in the past has reported that Bernier has been offered a 7 million dollar contract for 8 years without even giving a name or a source, I doubt it would be something you'd take that seriously.

I don't want to discourage you from posting info because I always look forward to hearing updates and insider info. But rumors without sources are no better than saying the rumors came from a friend of a friend.

This guy doesn't represent the fan base.

This guy just disappears in big games. I wonder how the Otters are going to do without McJesus to save them.

Dylan "the Floater" Strome

YES, he's quite offensively gifted, but this kid floats like no other.

When he doesn't have the puck he is so disinterested in the play.
