Why do you people seem to have a personal vendetta against a 17/18 year old kid that you've never interacted with in your life? Coming up with bad nicknames for a kid just because he hasn't played great in the playoffs, which does not even affect you in the slightest.

It's just strange at this point. Honestly what are you people doing?

Never change HF. Going to look forward to Strome being a great player and making these guys look sillier than they already do.

You are taking it, along with some others, way too personal Kulemon...

Just because your Leafs have a chance to draft him.

I interacted in this thread just a few weeks ago, and because I prefer Marner and Sam Reinhart, I got trashed... Because I thought Strome had some weaknesses (like every other prospects though), I got trashed.

So because the Leafs-nation seems very sensitive about Strome, you'll get the clueless post from trolls saying things like Dylan "The Floater" Strome or things like that...

And even if it's not true, I'm laughing pretty hard... This thread is lost and a joke since the Leafs secured the 4th overall pick IMO.

And if his play has suffered so badly due to injury , how does continuing to play help his team mates or his draft position?

People were saying Malkin and Crosby must have been injured too. Both of them are in the WC's.

I have seen a lot of Strome and he has been very meh. I am sorry that you don't like what we are saying because your team will likely draft him but it is the truth.

Look at all of the crap that was said about Draisaitl's skating leading up to the draft. Prospects will get picked apart for their flaws, it is just the way it is.

We even have a "who will bust" thread..

I'm certain you want the Leafs to draft him, but it's certainly not likely.
 
There's absolutely no question that Strome's stock has dropped significantly due to these playoffs.


It wouldn't surprise me to see him fall out of the top 10.

I would be shocked if that happened. Shocked!
I think with this playoff run he had a chance to claim that 3rd overall spot to himself which obviously did not happen, but there's no way he falls too far back.

I will say that I think it'll be a big mistake if he's taken before Marner, although I think the majority of people on this site have the same belief.

It wasn't that clear-cut when Strome won the scoring race a couple of weeks back... Strome was the new Sundin, the new big centerman that Toronto could build around...

Happy to hear that, but really don't care about the Leafs... I care about prospects and my Panthers !

Trust me... You haven't been around this thread long enough ! ;)
 
Yeah, it's basically official. Arizona will select Dylan Strome come draft day.

This guy seems to have some inside connection.

First year draft eligible OHLers with better PPG production (at least 50 games) since Dylan Strome was born...

1. Connor McDavid
2. Mitchell Marner
3. John Tavares *
4. Patrick Kane
5. Sam Gagner
6. Jason Spezza

*(year prior to draft year, but not draft year)

...that's it.

He's not dropping outside of the top five, let alone the top ten. I'd be surprised if he fell out of the top 3 and that's only because McDavid and Eichel are generational level talents. Ordinarily Strome would be a shoe-in for the top three, without question.

Strome needs to ride the pine for the rest of the game or something

Just horrible out there. Painful to watch him. The whiff shot and giveaway after isnt a health issue, its poor hockey judgement and skills
 
I said it before and will say it again. By far the most overrated player in the 2015 draft. He can thank McDavid for his production.
 
His skating/compete level is comical. Like someone mentioned before, he plays a lot like Purcell. No speed, no grit. He brings nothing to the table. Useless player so far.
 
Man, hope Maloney and crew are catching this game, this guy looks more of a borderline top 10 prospect in the draft than top 5.

I do to man. I said in another thread I really hope Arizona avoids him because i actually like the team

i think all this talk about talking Strome is to make Toronto sweat and offer a guy like Gardiner to move up so they could get their hometown kid. Thats speculation on my part, but cant see them taking him at 3. So dissappointing
