Moore and Mooney were the 07s who were expected to advance to the u18s this season. A little disappointing that Moore couldn't do it. I think he has the potential for a big season next year though.

There’s some two-year rule as well, dunno if that plays a role and he may not be eligible for iihf competition yet if it does. I don’t know all the nuances of it but I know Canadians complain about the USNDTP and how it gets dual citizens to hit the two year rule.

Any insight as to who the frontrunners are for his commitment? OHL still in play?

Barrie Colts own his rights now and they're not known as an organization that can pull elite talent away from the NCAA. So unlikely he ends up in the OHL
When is Moore going to make a decision/commitment?

Heard a while back that Michigan, Michigan State, Harvard and NoDak all were very interested and made offers. Education is very big in his family so it wouldn't really shock me that much if he ended up at Harvard.....but my money is on Michigan.

I think he’s fine but just i just see first round kinda pushing it for him because he disappears a lot , not really hard on pucks but has a ton of skill . Will see

He has gone from potential 10-15 pick to it looks like late first / second round where good chance Murtaugh goes before him . I actually think he’s been better with making plays - skill but his lack of “ bite “ in his game i think concern .

He's kind of just what he is at this point. He's not looked that terrible to me this year, but still majorly inconsistent. On the right shift or the right game you see an NHL second or third line winger (I don't think he'll be a center because he's not smart or competitive enough). Dude can surely skate and has decent hands for a relatively big forward), but he doesn't have "NHL driver" skill. It's more off the rush one and done stuff. He's not a driver in junior for the NTDP. He's looked the tiniest bit better to me with his compete level, but he still needs work there. Not a first rounder for me. Second round seems completely fair, but maybe there's still a team out there that is intrigued enough by the puck handling and skating to pick him in the late first.

Never ended up coming to the OHL, but if he had he would have been a top-3 pick. He has disappointed at the NTDP all things consitered, but so has the entire age group save a few guy, there is no reason Moore can’t be a good 3C in the NHL one day. His two way game and good offensive instincts will allow him to see NHL ice in the future. He will be a first round pick.
