My observation from last night: definitely the most consistently dangerous player on the ice, made some terrific passes to his teammates who could not convert, and Bedard had his own lack of luck when it comes to finishing.
He continued to display his habit of being too ambitious in traffic. Even McDavid couldn't stickhandle his way out of some of those coverages, so Bedard will need to do a better job of slowing down at times and letting his teammates catch up to keep possession.
Edit: Before I forget, there was one penalty kill he was on where he pretty much killed the second half on his own. I'm not considering him a two-way player at this point but on a dedicated PK role, he has some potential.
