Last player to got 1st overall who was 5 foot 9?
With his skillset and resume it won't matter at the draft.
Last player to got 1st overall who was 5 foot 9?
Yup. I don't know why they do that.an NHL 5'10 which of course in real life means about 5'8.5
DeBrincat is only 5ft7 and would've gone 1st overall in 2016 if you had the 1st overall pick....Last player to got 1st overall who was 5 foot 9?
As much as much as I hate to say it as a oilers fan I’d still pick the 60 goal man first overall , heck I’d even be inclined to pick tkachuck or mcavoy second before debrincatDeBrincat is only 5ft7 and would've gone 1st overall in 2016 if you had the 1st overall pick....
Patrick Kane was 5'9 160Last player to got 1st overall who was 5 foot 9?
I think he's anywhere from the 5th - 10th best player from that draft as of right now:As much as much as I hate to say it as a oilers fan I’d still pick the 60 goal man first overall , heck I’d even be inclined to pick tkachuck or mcavoy second before debrincat
I think he's anywhere from the 5th - 10th best player from that draft as of right now:
1 Matthews
2 Fox
3McAvoy
4 Bratt
5 Laine
6 Tkachuk
7 Debrincat
8 Keller
9 Kyrou
10 Sergachev
About the size of Point and he’s done okay as a 1CWhich makes me wonder if he won't end up a winger with his size and the type of goal scoring game he has, and I don't see what's so bad about that, a top of the line winger is a great player to have.
over Matthews? love Debrincat but theres atleast 5 players i draft over himDeBrincat is only 5ft7 and would've gone 1st overall in 2016 if you had the 1st overall pick....
They call that extreme homerism and can never be taken seriously. How on earth can you rank Bratt ahead of Tkachuk, DeBrincat, Laine and even Keller? This is the first time in his career he scored more than 35 points.
Nothing to do with him being a Devil. He's an all world talent. How on earth can you rank Bratt ahead of Tkachuk, DeBrincat, Laine and even Keller? This is the first time in his career he scored more than 35 points.
Talk out Bias.

You missed the joke on this one. The person he was responding to is very biased towards the CHL.As much as much as I hate to say it as a oilers fan I’d still pick the 60 goal man first overall , heck I’d even be inclined to pick tkachuck or mcavoy second before debrincat
Deleted. Answered above.Last player to got 1st overall who was 5 foot 9?
Bratt over Tkachuk?? DeBrincat should be above him (Bratt) too, but Tkachuk is just outrageous. I might take Kyrou over Bratt as well, but they are indeed close.I think he's anywhere from the 5th - 10th best player from that draft as of right now:

Leafer made a thread a year or two ago on the main boards saying how DeBrincat is potentially the best player in the entire league. That thread went over about as well as you'd expect and he's made various other comments hyping Cat up to insane degrees.over Matthews? love Debrincat but theres atleast 5 players i draft over him
I don't rely on counting box scores to evaluate players. He has scored over 35 points once. That is something everyone I mentioned has done multiple times with DeBrincat, Laine and Tkachuk all placing in the top 10 in either goals or points at least once each.
Bratt had a hgue breakout last year and could very well continue at that pace if not better but there is 0 chance one can sanely rank him above the 4 I mentioned.

That's true, but they play a different style of game.About the size of Point and he’s done okay as a 1C
True but Bedard is better in most areas than Point is.That's true, but they play a different style of game.
Agreed, he won't miss, I just wonder if he won't miss at centre or on the wing in the pros.True but Bedard is better in most areas than Point is.
Near generational talent like his won’t be limited due to his size
