Your analysis of Bedard game was really suspect in the Bedard thread, people know a bad take and an agenda when they see it.

George Leafer seems to have one as well.

Bedard gas been the best Black Hawk player and is driving play out there and creating chances, just because he doesn't have 6 goals in 2 games doesn't mean that he isn't having an extremely good impact here and it will get better as he acclimatizes to the league.

Brother, why would i care if Bedard performs well or not? Why would i waste my time with dumb "agendas" as you say. What do i have to gain? The only people whinning about agendas are the ones with one.

Glad that we agree that he is their best player but it's ironic that last years number 1 guy didn't do this eh?

Actually most years this is the case for the #1 pick not being the NHL teams best player in their rookie season..

Yeah Slaf is special

But Bedard is surprising to say the least no goals from range in 3 NHL games and 3 pre-seasons. Also no primary assists.

Maybe he's just a slow starter, it was a thing in the WHL as well
 
He’s going to be a beauty.

He’s already shown flashes where you see the skill& potential.

& he has chemistry with Laine which isn’t a bad thing at all

I think at this point his biggest hurdle is acting like he belongs. Bit tentative at times but when he gets back to just simply playing hockey again he'll take off. Big jump from College to the NHL but hes already showing improvement a couple games in. Exciting times ahead

Maybe instead of whatever you are trying to do here watch him play, but sadly the whatever seems more important to you which is fine but exhausting when you double and triple down on a really poor take.

i dont see a reason why reading a post of 2-3 lines would be exhausting.
Maybe sleep more, stop the coffee.

If you want to share your point of view im happy to read it. But simply saying i am wrong because you're tired of reading is lame.

I saw a lot of people expecting like a 70 point season or something. I'm not sure people realize how difficult it is to score 70 on your d+1 in the NHL. For context Matthews had 69. Not sure who's been the closest before that. Mcdavid was a ppg but got hurt.

Not really caomparable because on league scoring. Matthews was 22nd in scoring, Last season 60 players scored 70+ points.

There's been only 52 rookies (let alone just looking at d+1 players) to score 70 or more in the NHL.

Doesn't really matter what era, it is extremely difficult to put up those kind of numbers after just being drafted. If I were betting I'd gladly take the under on him hitting 70.

I would too, just pointing out that is more likely now than few years ago. However Matthews was quite lucky to start his carrer as number one pick on playoff team.

Columbus played poorly last night but he stood out to me. Seems like a really smart player with a great skillset. Juked Larkin a few times on the power play.

Yeah he was flying early. That set up to Laine should have been a goal but it was a hot pass and Laine whiffed. After that the team got so disjointed they didnt support each other at all and a 19 year old rookie isnt often going to take over in a game like that.

Hes been fine for a kid making that jump on a very up and down team early. Once that line puts in a goal I think they start to feel better and the goals will come

I missed the first period unfortunately. But yeah he looked fine to me. Frequently made the simple play when nothing was there which was smart. Columbus looked like they desperately missed Werenski.
