This was the offensive breakout we’ve been waiting for. All lines were rolling. What an amazing time at the CTC tonight! My only complaint is they had no golden palace eggrolls.
Toronto literally bought them.

Honestly I won't be supporting them after this.

Crazy exciting game!

So many great moments and best game since 2017!

I know we would love our defense to shut down the Bruins but it has been a long time since that happened....lol

I am just going to take all the positives of this entire night and forget about nit-picking!

This team is on the right track, let's celebrate a beautiful home opener!

The beginning of a new era!

Best game I've been to since 2017 playoffs...

My thoughts:
- Place was RAMMED, every goal, every cheer was loud and it felt like a playoff game
- The Alfie surprise appearance choked me up a bit....the fans chanted his name like it was the 2007 playoffs. Lady next to me was in tears...
- I don't think a single player played badly. Yes yes, structure in the D zone still needs some work but everyone battled hard and we won more puck battles than I've seen in 4 years.

Top 4 players in my eyes (from the 200 level):
1. Tkachuk he was in BEAST mode all night
2. Batherson playing like an all-star out there...physical and tenacious
3. Zub...was an ABSOLUTE FORCE...Must be re-signed asap...was our best D
4. Stutzle.. massive star in the making....fast, creative and smart

Lots of others....Branny, Pinto, Kastelic, Giroux, Sanderson....but the above stood out the most.
There was a lot of standouts. I like Sanderson's game and I liked that all four lines scored.

I was also at the game and I'll second what you said. Last time I saw it that loud was the game we scored 4 in the first on the Pens in 2017.

A couple of other notes. I played hockey in the east end at 4. I left from Sens Plex East after my game and was inside the CTC at 610 and had a beer within 5 minutes. No problems getting to the game or with the wait to get a beer.

Beer. Self serve beer. Coolest thing ever. Right outside my section.

I'm so pumped that we won that game.

Was it just me or was the reffing aweful last night? Being at the game gives a different perspective and you don't see as many replays but some of the calls and missed calls seemed disproportionate.

They called anything where someone fell down and called nothing if someone didn’t.

Norris did the right thing at the end and exposed how stupid the refs were.

After seeing the sell jobs by Pastrnak on two occasions and the Brannstrom “slash” it was obvious what it would take to get a PP in this game.

It looked to me like Pasta got a twig in the twig and berries on his dive call.

Was that not the consensus?

It's the two-footed leap to the ice that is a little suspicious.

My issue is more with the refs not calling obvious infractions where someone didn't throw themselves onto the ice.

Caller criticized Brannstrom and then said he wants a big mobile D.

Baker responds that every team wants big mobile D.

Baker never criticized Brannstrom.
I want a big mobile D too

Motte showed tonight that he is a 4th liner.

Joseph was good after a slow start tonight but he makes a lot of dangerous decisions at the offensive blue line.

Sanderson was not great early but really picked it up.

Debrincat can be better.
Motte isn’t a 3rd liner.

Brannstrom so good last night.

Sanderson so good last night.

Zub so good habit good.
Hamonic had the most hiccups but wasn’t terrible or anything

Holden love the guy. Nothing special. Nothing bad. Him and branny seem to like eachother.

Chabot played well.

Parker Kelly was ok but I dono. Maybe someone else there would work better.

Watson got an assist but up until then it was rough to watch.

Kastelic was decent.

Debrincat is f***ing sick. No goals but man the guy can play any way.

Giroux is great.

Motte is not the motte we saw in preseason lol.

Certainly felt that way but remember we were in a packed and vocal house lol.

I honestly didn't think the Bruins generated much, there will always be breakdowns, but in terms of quality chances I don't think the Bruins had as many as the score would suggest.
I think this was evidenced with some numbers I saw. Bruins generated verrrry little high danger scoring chances
