Even Lemieux drove beautifully to the net. Would be great if we had multiple guys doing that, will create more chances.
Gauthier, Blackwell, Buch, Brodzinski, they're starting to do it consistently

Just wanted to confirm Sam did in fact say Kakko is not experiencing any symptoms still and is just in quarantine. He could be back soon. That is what he said during the broadcast
And I think they mentioned Chytil is back soon, too. Is that right?

I want Chytil and Kakko back soon. And Panarin, but more the former. Want to see them rev it up now that everyone including Laf seems to be heating up.
Laf is looking very good. As was Kakko. If they really can keep the upswing going, I’d say there is zero problem with the development pace.

When all three of them start going at the same time, I'm going to shed a tear of joy.

Absolutely. Of course sometimes they’ll crash the net and give up a great chance going the other way. But that’s a risk they have to take. Otherwise they’re just too vanilla trying to set up Harlem Globetrotters style layups.

Playing on his off side, something that hasn't even seemed to bother him much
He seems to be a competent bottom pair defenseman, who can play either side. There is value in that for sure. It is nice he doesn't seem to get run over multiple times a game anymore either.

sam said they are hoping to have him back on tuesday
I kind of like the idea of staggering the returns. Kappo back Sunday. Chytil Tuesday. And hopefully AP soonafter.

bringing them all back at once can cause confusion and delay.

they aren't intentionally staggering it...he needs to practice to get read and will be back (most likely) within the original timeline. i'm sure the team would love him to play sunday but need to make sure he's ready

and there is no guarantee kakko plays sunday. he's still on the covid list

Rangers could’ve scored 10 in this game. Posts, shaft saves, Rask not knowing where the puck was 2 or 3 times.

So glad they smashed the Bs. They are so annoying.

The most physical game the Rangers have played in a very long time. They have the size to throw it around and get inside the defenders by the net. When they use it they can do some damage.

They played very close to a full 60 min game. Good for the fans to see it.

On a side note: I really wish I could see what a vintage Messier elbow would do to Marchand. I’m sure he wouldn’t have missed that crosscheck to Lindgrens face.
