He seems super fast too. A little small for my liking. But from the clips that are being posted he looks like an nhl talent. The shot and speed alone should get him a look. I love big and fast. He has the speed at least.

Seems like everyone needs to stop complaining about sweeneys drafting…. He still turns out nhl talent with limited picks. We are a couple years away from seeing Jellvik play in the nhl but he definitely looks the part(based on the highlights.)
He is listed at 5'10 180 lbs, would think he would be 190 when he turns Pro. Good things come in small packages. He can skate, has skill, already has twice as many goals this year vs previous year. I agree with you Sweeney has hit on some nice draft picks the past 2-3 years.

Thanks @DominicT

thank you for posting these dom hockey links. i read them everyweek along with his other great content. the current discussion around jellvik and his developing game supports why dom hockey is such a great read, he told us year two was where he expected this prospect to show his obvious skill more consistently and on the scoresheet. i'm rooting for this kid. he's telling us the same thing about locmelis and i'm excited for him as well.

I don't know if Duran is 100% ready for the AHL. I think he is and should/will sign in the offseason, but I am pretty sure he should not be at PC next season.

If he needs offseason surgery I want him back at PC otherwise it's probably time to turn pro but I have my suspicion he's got a nagging injury

This is why I wish Sweeney had kept a 1st round pick or two to see who he could've picked up. Just saying!

I would love to have a guy who plays on the edge like Edward and I like how nasty he seems to be. That hit was really bad though. They’ll probably throw the book at him, and deservedly so.

Edward is going to be a beauty

Hope he can make it to the NHL, but hope we never see a play like that again. As I recall he had another horrible situation a month or so back. He should not see the ice for a month or two

Yeah, I like the nastiness but he'll have to learn to control it and play more on the fence and less over it.
