Stay in school, kids.
I am really not sure how any Div 1, or any Div college athlete can get the grades to stay in school.
At a minimum they are spending 4 hrs a day for their sport, 7 days a week, all year. If you're smart and dedicated I guess you can make it, but if your a below average student or not academically dedicated, forget it, unless the school is bending the rules.

Mandatory study halls
Academic advisors continually up your rear end
And the fear of losing your scholarship is usually enough for most

And lots and lots of support. tutors, etc. Plus often lots of exceptions. Sometimes doing reports instead of exams.

I am less familiar with Hockey, but I can say at bigger schools the Academic support structure for athletes is beyond impressive. Not going to suggest it is easy, but for each athlete there are multiple people dedicate to ensure you succeed (obviously most support a group of people not 1)

I hope so. His highlights and the shear volume of them is impressive. Does anyone that’s in the know about ushl prospects have any strong inclination we might have found a steal here?
