Personnally, if the baby B's, via drafting, can provide a legit nhl player every other year I think that is good. Anything more is gravy. Just my opinion, but based on so many FA signings in todays NHL 1 every other year is okay. More than that definitely helps your cap, and you can spend more on high end talent. The B's have been good for so long, their draft position is always at the end of the first round. Perhaps Sweeney should try to trade with some bottom feeders to get their high draft picks.
For example, something like, trade Gryz to a bad team for their #1 pick next year. Slide Loheri into his spot.
