Was Corey Schneider injured in the last game?
I believe so. Skarek replaced him at the start of the 3rd. He looked fine at the end of the 2nd period, so I don't know why he didn't start the 3rd.

Why should the injury bug avoid Bridgeport smh.I believe so. Skarek replaced him at the start of the 3rd. He looked fine at the end of the 2nd period, so I don't know why he didn't start the 3rd.
It seems the injury bug has hit Worcester. Officially Ken Appleby is "banged up", so that's why Tikkanen was recalled to Bridgeport and not him.Why should the injury bug avoid Bridgeport smh.
Schneider was having a terrific season so far.
Your daily dose of schadenfreude.
Dylan Garand, the next great goalie prospect for the Rags got pulled last night after giving up 5 goals on 13 shots.
Season stats:
7W 9L
Goals against average 3.30
Save percentage .887
That’s comparable to Skarek.
Considering we have a totally barren pipeline, Dufour, Bolduc and Ish seem like pretty good prospects.Exciting game in Bridgeport tonight. Islanders tie the game with 1 minute left and then win it in OT with a nice drive by Koivula. 5-4
Dufour 3A
Bolduc 1G 2A
Ish 1G 1A
Koivula 1G
Durandeau 1G
Cholowski 1G
As someone who watches all these games to me Dufour has potential to be a nice 3rd line NHLer. 20 goals is his nhl upside with some PP time, he’s big and finishes his checks. The skating needs work along with commitment in his own zone. Iskhakov is talented with puck, his skating isn’t as bad as people made it out to be. He could be third liner who plays on PP. He plays with nice motor, good at stealing pucks. He’s small though, he’s probably smaller than hes listed. We’ve seen Bolduc, he would be better if he used size more but he’s NHLer I think. Could be guy that gets 10-15 goals a year, he has bomb of a shot. Durandeau also I think could be a depth player, he has improved tons and plays a game a lot like Cizikas. I’d love to see him get opportunity here now especially with our injuries considering there will be some new players turning pro next year(Maggio and Kuefler from last years draft and possibly Luikas coming over)Considering we have a totally barren pipeline, Dufour, Bolduc and Ish seem like pretty good prospects.
I watch a lot of games and that's a good assessment on those players. I think when Bolduc came up to the islanders, they told him to be more physical. He had 13 hits in 6 games. You know how many hits Aho has in 53?..........26 lol. I'd rather see Bolduc get a chance over Aho. He'll probably put up same amount of points as aho and be more physical. Yea he had a bad game against vancouver but who didnt. As someone who watches all these games to me Dufour has potential to be a nice 3rd line NHLer. 20 goals is his nhl upside with some PP time, he’s big and finishes his checks. Spot on. Bravo. I’m going to say this and of course it’s ludicrous but I wish i could see Ish with Barzal and Bo. That being said he definitely could be the next Rocco Grimaldi. He is t-I-n-y. He is not going to be Sergei Samsonov that’s for sure.As someone who watches all these games to me Dufour has potential to be a nice 3rd line NHLer. 20 goals is his nhl upside with some PP time, he’s big and finishes his checks. Durandeau was an emergency recall today. Can we please stop with the hyperbole on Ishakov? He just scored his first AHL goal in 20 games. In July he’ll be 23 years old and he’s 5’ 8”” in heels.
Good luck with that in the big leagues where they’re bigger, faster and more skilled than his current competition.
Deserves it, kid has just worked his way into a big role in Bridgeport. He works and plays hard, has some ability also but he’s a worker.Durandeau was an emergency recall today.

I shook his hand on his way to the bus for he my nieces new favorite player. I’m 5’8 and he’s taller than me but maybe he was wearing lifts. Listen I think your right, he was being tossed around by the Hartford Wolfpack can you imagine ISH going up against an NHL defenseman. But he has an NHL shot, or maybe I just hope. Can we please stop with the hyperbole on Ishakov? He just scored his first AHL goal in 20 games. In July he’ll be 23 years old and he’s 5’ 8”” in heels.

I hope gets some playing time. I think he has 3rd/4th line potential.Deserves it, kid has just worked his way into a big role in Bridgeport. He works and plays hard, has some ability also but he’s a worker.
I’d send Fasching back today. He doesn’t belong in the NHL.What a weekend, Skarek was terrific tonight and Ish is getting hot at the right time. If we make the playoffs and the parent club doesn’t I believe we can win the whole damn thing with Fasching and Holmstrom back.
