A little ex-Islander prospect news:
- The Florida Everblades took their 3rd straight Kelly Cup (ECHL title) and Josh Ho-Sang was part of it. A late season addition, he had 15 points in 13 regular season games and then another 18 points in 22 playoff games. Interesting. Or not....
- Former 7th rounder Nick Pastujov, whose brother Sascha is an Anaheim Ducks prospect, has signed with one of the better addresses in Austria after putting up 51 points in 56 games with a bottom-feeder in his first season in Europe. He had actually been added to the system via a contract with BPort but that was dissolved rather quickly so that he could sign on with an ECHL team, where he proceeded to put up 25, 53, and 35 points with 20 games of AHL play in between. If he keeps things up, I guess I can expect to see him in Germany within the next three years (Austria is often a stepping stone to a bigger paycheck here).
