Yeah he is good with puck and isn’t bad away from it, ok defensively. He’s small but he’s not soft player. He would probably be the next call up I think.I understand Ish is quite undersized but how much of a liability is he in his own zone? Seems like the puck is a bit sticky on his stick and we could use some of that on the big club.
If he was a left winger it would be ideal but unfortunately Ish and Dufour are both righties. With the team needing as much skill as it can get, why not give Ish a few games. Looks like he has great hands and a great shot.

Ishkakov is a lefty and can play all forward positions. Though because of his size clearly more of a wing.If he was a left winger it would be ideal but unfortunately Ish and Dufour are both righties.
Wow, really? After just beating Providence 7-1 on thursday. I usually watch the games but missed that one.I’ll throw this out. No comment necessary. If anyone watched the game please chime in.
Baby Isles lost 9-0 at home yesterday to a Baby Rags team near the bottom of the standings. Isles had 11 shots on goal for the entire game.
Ahl games tend to be shotty because they play multiple games in a row. For all we know, the B or C team was in the lineup and just lost control of the game.Wow, really? After just beating Providence 7-1 on thursday. I usually watch the games but missed that one.
It was one of those bad nights, followed up today good effort in a 3-0 win with two EN goals. Shutout for Skarek who is playing well lately.Ahl games tend to be shotty because they play multiple games in a row. For all we know, the B or C team was in the lineup and just lost control of the game.
Playing really well of late is an understatemen. With Pageau and hopefully Barzal coming back I wonder who gets sent back to Bridgeport. It was one of those bad nights, followed up today good effort in a 3-0 win with two EN goals. Shutout for Skarek who is playing well lately.
Koivula. We’ll have 2 centers returning to the lineup.Playing really well of late is an understatemen. With Pageau and hopefully Barzal coming back I wonder who gets sent back to Bridgeport.

Lately, for Skarek, is his last 3 or 4 games. His entire body of work is not good and we should not consider wasting time on him after this season.View attachment 664234
Let’s pump the brakes on Skarek and the Baby Isles. Skarek’s recent stats (see above) don’t look great and the team’s point percentage is below the middle of the pack in the entire league.
We’re all fans here but c’mon now.
I took my 9 year old niece to the February 17th game in Hartford and he was fantastic. Our defense is quite poor. How many games have you been to watch him up close and personal, yes that’s what I thought Albert Spamstein.View attachment 664234

I watch every game, Skarek has played better. I don’t know if he has future at all, more than likely not but I never pumped the team all I said was Skarek has played better lately.View attachment 664234

Dufour and Durandeau will be Islander regulars next year. And I don’t mean Bridgeport Islanders.

Are you addressing this to me? I hope not cause I never insulted you nor was I trying.View attachment 664298
When Skarek underperforms, the fall back excuse is that his defense is poor yet we have Salo, Hutton and Bolduc as regulars.
Throwing out BS insults doesn’t support your typical hyperbole on many of our prospects. I also want them to do well but I try to be realistic.
As for my attendance, I enjoyed the recent game with the Storm bobblehead giveaway (pic attached). Were you there?
Not at you no. You’re way more of an optimist than me but there’s nothing wrong with that. Are you addressing this to me? I hope not cause I never insulted you nor was I trying.
Ok good, I’m optimistic about a few guys down there having shot here. I think Thompson gets bad rap too, a lot of Bridgeport guys are filling in nicely right now. He doesn’t seem to win but seemingly all the guys who get called up are well prepared to contribute in NHL which is why I think he’s kept his job for so long. Not at you no. FWIW, BP guys seem to have better +/- in the NHL than they do in the AHL. Many things factor into that, but they do seem well-prepared for the transition to the NHL.Ok good, I’m optimistic about a few guys down there having shot here. He doesn't have high school lacrosse size, never mind NHLCorey Schneider was magnificent tonight. Great win in regulation. Taking the 250 mile drive Friday night to watch them with my mom. Wanted 3 points from the three game series. Want more now. Ishikov is my guy and I know he has nhl hands but can he add another gear cause he doesn’t have nhl size as we all know.
I’m five foot eight and he’s taller than me, and he was wearing shoes not skates, might he have been wearing lifts? Perhaps but I believe he’s at least five foot eight and a half.He doesn't have high school lacrosse size, never mind NHL
