Buffalo offers: Cozens, Quinn , 2025 1st round pick.
i'd do that if i were the Sens.
Tkachuk is a great player but a bit of a headcase.
3 or 4 years from now, Cozens will be a PPG player, Quinn probably chipping in 20 goals a year , every year... and the 1st if unprotected could be pretty sweet.

Got talking about slotting, so brought up a comparable, that’s what happens when you come up with a bad chirp.
Chirp?

We can talk Leafs in any of the Leaf related threads that you frequent. This thread is about Brady Tkachuk's trade value.

I don't think anything will happen in season but I imagine this will become a hot topic in the off-season.

The Wild have almost $15 million in dead cap this year, but next year it drops to $1,666,666. The Wild will have ample cap space after this season and would not need to send any cap back.
Ahhh yes, tell me how you know more about my team. You’re wrong, but go off.

Thank you for your reply. You should share your wisdom with Capwages, since they agree with me.

Sure I’ll clarify:

Jensen has long been a good top 4 RD, so he’s doing what he normally does.
Ullmark has a Vézina trophy and a career of great numbers vs 15 games of which his last bunch look like his regular self.

I guess we’ll agree to disagree
Not sure about that one.

He has 2 years of fufilling that from his last 5 years. The others he was either a 3rd pairing d (eg 19-20, 20-21), or not good (23-24).

A new entry in the thread, and a real contender for:
“Best completely made up thing!”

I would offer from the wild

Erickson Ek , Jakob Trenin and Jasper Wallstedt.

Ek give the Sens a top 6 C to plug right in , Wallstedt is a blue chip prospect and likely the top goalie prospect not in the nhl and Trenin while possibly being of some use to someone is no use to us so it’s a cap dump although a small one without much negative value
Luckily all three players don‘t exist.

He doesn’t. The money is already spent or allocated for. Most of which applies when Faber’s AAV spikes to $8.5M.

He’s making fun of your spelling.
I’m fully aware and if I thought about it I’m quite sure I could spell their names correct.

I have no idea what we’d give up, but the Canes went hard after his brother and what they both bring is what the Canes lack. I think they’d be all over this. Calgary said no to Necas for M Tkachuk….

Not sure what Bruins would offer, but I think he fits perfectly with what they want to be again.
I agree a Tkachuk on the Bruins would look fitting, but I don't think Ottawa and Boston would be possible trading partners.

If I'm Ottawa and crazy but still want to maximize my return, I target Dallas or Florida,

Lekkerimaki, Silovs, Kudryavtsev or D-Petey, 2025 1st, 2026 1st, Hoglander, Forbort, Desharnais, Heinen ($7.65M)

For

Brady Tkachuk, Cousins, and Kleven ($9.927M)

Literally can add more picks if need be. 1 A prospect, 2 B+ prospects including a young goaltender, 1 young forward with middle 6 potential, couple of 1sts, and some depth guys that can be used as trade pieces or depth. Contract slots wise it works.
You don’t need to go that crazy…EP40 for BT…I’m sure Sens fans will say Canucks need to add

Close to what I thought, too. Maybe they want a better prospect than Heinola though? Or add Barlow? Kupari?
I’d add Barlow

Perfetti, Heinola, Barlow and a 1st for Tkachuk. Could the Jets make that cap work without sending out a contract like Iafallo?

I'd do it if you remove Kleven and Forbort + "Kudryavtsev or D-Petey"

Lekkerimaki, Hoglander, Heinen, Silovs, the two 1st, Desharnais : all these pieces make it very interesting (gotta have faith in Lekkerimaki but it could fix the Sens depht problem but two firsts to fix the ultra terrible asset management under Pierre Dorion.

Sens fans probably wouldn't like it though

Flyers should offer Michkov for Tkachuk. BT looks like a Tortorella's player, and Michkov doesn't...

Please, Stutzle + Michkov would be deadly

Thank you for your reply. You should share your wisdom with Capwages, since they agree with me.

Faber and Middleton extensions kick in next season, Rossi is RFA. Kaprizov and Gustavsson will need new contracts the season after.

Not sure what Bruins would offer, but I think he fits perfectly with what they want to be again.

Only piece of interest would be Pastrnak. Sens can't afford to trade one of their top forwards for Ds (so no to Carlo or McAvoy)
