I take back wanting Chabot Captain, over Brady after last nights performance. Chabot is a leader and we're blessed to have him, but Brady can take it to another level when he needs to.

He's been putting up points and has games where he plays exactly the way we need him to play but let's not get carried away with the very good two-way player analysis. He's still lost in the defensive zone a lot of the time and seems to miss crucial defensive assignments at crucial moments in the game. Let's celebrate the things he's actually doing without needing to fabricate a narrative that simply doesn't hold true.

Tkachuk is becoming the player some of us thought he would when they drafted him, he is becoming the premier power forward in the NHL. He is big, he is tough, he is fearless, he will hit, fight & is a much better passer than most thought & has turned into a very good goal scorer & point producer. He's also shown that he is a very good captain that will stick up for teammates & carry the team on his back. Getting the Gordie Howe hat-trick last night & coming from behind to win it OV was epic.
