Brady is in his 5th season now he can't continue making the most stupid passes to the opposing team.

I have never seen a player, especially a star player, more complacent with puck. Which is in stark contrast to the intensity he plays with. What a weird player.

Him, Norris, Chabot all have to step up. They are 8 mill players.
Jason Spezza used to get trashed on here for giveaways.

i remember, and he created triple the amount of chances as Brady.

but Brady seems to get a free pass for even more egregious and constant giveaways.
There were times i was mad at Giroux tonight. These players are human. Tkachuk isn't as bad as you seem to be making him. I didn't see much bad from him tonight.

I don't think Tkachuk is bad.

I don't like when the highest paid player on the roster and the captain no less plays like its shinny when he has the puck. What kind of message does that send to the other players?

Brady is a beast at getting the puck back but he's also the easiest player to take it off. Spezza got grilled for less egregious turnovers, Karlsson would be roasted if he was giving it away like that. Even Alfredsson would have been criticized.

But Brady for some reason gets a free pass.

Like I said it's his 5th season in the league now, he is the captain and highest paid player. It's about time he cuts the junior shit out of his game. It will fly even less in the playoffs even though Brady is already a playoff legend around these parts lol.

Brady and Tkachuk together is magic. I feel like they both feed off of the reckless roughness, and Stutzle is a magnet for that.

Honestly this dude is approaching like Crosby/Jagr levels of hard to knock off the puck. He's a man amongst boys out there.

I actually think it's the opposite. Maybe you're right when he's stationary and facing stationary contact. But when he's moving or in open ice he gets eaten up quick.

The less Brady has the puck the better, possessing the puck isn't really his game. Which is why I think the top line worked so well last game. With Stutzle and Batherson he barely has to touch the puck.

Create chaos, quick one touch passes and get open. Profit.

I thought he looked a touch slow in the first couple of games. He was skating much better last night, and as a result was a dominant force. That was vintage Brady, and when he plays that way he is one of the most unique, and impactful, players in the league...

The way Brady wins board battles is Peter Schaefer-esque. He uses his speed to get in the right spots, then he's just really good with his stick to retrieve pucks at his/other people's feet, then sometimes uses his size to create separation, then makes simple pop plays to the slot and other dangerous areas.

He doesn't really play like a traditional power forward, and he rarely holds onto the puck for long. I'm starting to think DJ is really onto something by putting Stutzle with Brady. That line was absolutely beastly yesterday.

Agreed. Stu just needs to learn to expect great passes from Brady, underrated passer. That line has all the elements still, but Norris looks like a better fit for the other line which is great to see. Norris is kind of doing Brady’s job, and is looking A LOT more physical and defensively conscious than in previous years.

Playing PK as well, he has a ton of room to grow as well.

Unbelievable game. Played so big and, honestly, along the boards between him and a physical Drake, they are going to come out with the puck. Twice they did it on Drake and Timmy goals, and it will happen a lot. Still severely underrated for his niftiness and visions (suprised Timmy late in the 3rd with what would hav been an open net).

This is why he remains at the top of the payroll. Does . It . All.
