Did I blame anyone? More fiction from you, what a surprise.

We’ll if your saying Brady Takchuk wants out of this Canadian city because I’m mean - do you think if was the Captain of the NYR or Flyers and his team was he had the Sens results in those cities for this long and he told the fans to chill out he’d be getting good press? The fans would be loving Brady Tkachuk?

I'm saying you're creating fiction with everything you post. Might as well make it a side hustle and write some books,

Since when did calling out your Captain and highest paid player for the horrid state of his teams play is friction?

Brady told the fans to chill Out and the coach was great and the team was about to turn the corner…(checks notes)…Sens are the 5th worst team in the NHL.

Friction? I think you overate my influence but I do appreciate you thinking I’m a big deal - but you’re wrong. What we write here doesn’t matter, because if it did wouldnt be such a horrible team

Brady is a great forechecker one of the best in the league. Maybe the best.

But I also agree the drop off in effort between the o zone and neutral zone/d zone is too much.

But at least he is not constantly cherry picking and blowing the zone for breakaways anymore, what a massive improvement.

He was also clearly too young to be made captain and is still pretty immature.

I mean letting it all out anonymously on the internet is probably better for his reputation than trying to run those stories by a real person at the water cooler….

So cringeworthy.

For sure this is infraction for insulting someone - but you’re the law so I guess it’s okay for you to tell take valid criticism of Brady Tkachuk personally and insult people and break the rules. Good for you

except what I called you out on are the criticisms that weren't valid, and showed why. I called you out on making up narratives that aren't backed up, I'm calling you out on the (fictional) content in your posts. Like I said, if you make claims that don't hold up, expect to be called on it.

This sums it up. He's stopped cherry picking and is forechecking as always. I don't think anyone aside from Torts can get him to be willing to block a shot or two, but I think the C is the primary issue. Should've have been made captain and you can't fix that now. Not sure if he's professional enough to handle it being stripped. All we can hope for is a coach that doesn't tolerate his pouting and bad penalties.

He's been blocking shots a bit more under Martin than he did under DJ, likely because we aren't getting him to fly the zone the way DJ did, but he's certainly not throwing himself in front of everything the way Watson would,

As an aside, Stutzle went from 6 5v5 blocks in 26 games under DJ this year, to leading all forwards with 24 in 35 games under Jacques,

So you’re the mind police for thinking about Brady Takchuk leadership and how His last place team continue to collapse in the face of any pressure and he’s Captained the most horrid road team in Sens history.

Brady said to support eh team and stop criticizing them they are about to take off - stadium is sold out fans did their part - Brady fell flat on his face

No criticism of the Captain allowed under your watch - he’s the perfect hockey player with perfect leadership skills on the perfect team. Alright, I’ll tow the party line

Such an immature response. People call you out on the BS portions of your claims and you can't accept that so you make silly comments the other way. Here's a thought, try sticking to valid criticisms and you won't have to defend yourself so much.

Lol, this is how you respond when called out on your fictional diatribes?

You can criticize Brady as much as you like, but when you make unsubstantiated or untrue claims in those criticism, expect to be called on it, that's generally how discussion boards work,

Brady has been rumoured by our own media and the biggest podcast in NA to not be happy, but you know better then anyone. You have your head in the sand if you don’t think this summer will be filled with Brady Takchuk rumours

On your watch Can’t critique a Captain who’s team is in last place and collapses in the face of any pressure and who has played a very loose game since he got here.

The head coach called him out for allowing a 36 year old being better than him game in and game out. 5th worst team in the NHL.

Going great. Brady has been exceptional

I’m talking neutral zone forecheck and takeaways like Alfie or Stone, hitting is great but obviously not getting us anywhere. I’d trade 100 Brady hits so he could strip the puck 10 times in the neutral zone - I’d rather have the puck then have people hitting people who have the puck

And this is the issue with Brady - lots of activity but not a lot of winning. It’s hard to critique him because of his family and he wears the C - but if Brady thinks he’s doing enough in this tankology then how do expect Timmy or Chabot to up their game.
Tuna I’ve read enough. I’m adding you to my goodbye list.
Goodbye and good luck.

LMAO, they literally said they make rumours up on the last 2 podcasts.
The only head in the sand is your fictional diatribes.

Check the first 5 headlines in this HFboards - panic thread, culture problem, long winter, rebuild was a failure, draft, GM thread filled with questions - but equating any of this to the Captain is too far for some. The Tkachuks are NHL royalty, but you don’t need to bow down before them and pretend Brady plays a complete game and he doesn’t have one eye out the door already and there is discord on the team - the rumours are there from legit sources that Brady is unhappy and those rumours are only going to grow this summer

Anyways, see ya

The G.M. Addressed it within a day of the rumour floating, of course it’s a real thing

I have no issues with people calling out the captain especially if it's warranted. I've done it many times. I've also called out every player on this team. It shouldn't be forbidden. It's just one part of fandom.

To the point of the GM addressing the Brady rumor, he was asked the question wasn't he? He didn't out right make a comment on it unprovoked. Addressing a rumor doesn't necessarily mean its a real thing either. It could just mean dousing an intentional fire to eliminate unnecessary distractions.

Quote from Renaud Lavoie (who is a legit hockey source for all those looking to discredit these rumours)

“There is a lot of noise surrounding Tkachuk,” said Lavoie. “Noise that has been around since the start of the season. It’s a dark cloud hanging over the team.”

We’re trying to build stability here in Ottawa. Calling out our best players with no justification or benefit leads to more instability.
I say down with the clowns.

So the coach says “if the team is going to start winning the best players simply have to be better and bring it every night” and the he adds “teams that win in the NHL their top players perform every night”. Thai was Martin’s pre game interview before the Anaheim game - the last game played.

So the coach has called out the top players multiple times for lack of energy, lack of focus, lack of details, lack or urgency.

BUT if the fans do it we are creating instability and are clowns. Makes sense

He was quoting from Spittin Chicklets. SC then went on to say they were just throwing things against the wall and it wasn't an actual rumor.
