Who? I dont know who that is. I hear BT is our GMYes, just the people who seem to care a lot about results don't seem to care too much right now.
I'd argue Dubas has better results.

Im fine moving Nylander for the right price. But if Moving Nylander is the only major shake up this team is due for another 1st round exit. Atleast fire Keefe ffs.Willy is a mercenary. He's gonna ask for 10 mil so just move him now.
Not enough cap relief, need another high priced piece moved to fix this team……..Im fine moving Nylander for the right price. But if Moving Nylander is the only major shake up this team is due for another 1st round exit. Atleast fire Keefe ffs.
Good luck with that with this roster……..No more coddling.

Apology accepted, and they say sharks are cold blooded………What’s soft is that someone needs to defend his honour after a random gobshite with a silly shark avatar called him a dbag on the internet. Being a dbag and being a cup winning coach are not mutually exclusive descriptors. Im literally blaming the player for his own performance in the post you quoted, but I’m sorry for offending your sensibilities.
Most of the money guys are probably upset the party’s over……..The defence is old and slow, this GM will beef up the D.
Going to be a culture shock for the few that remain.
Can't wait.
The Shanaplan still very much in force it seems
Yup, very excited to see what happens. Been a very long time since we had a change. Ideally I'd like to bring Schenn back, he was a beast but Gio was very slow in the playoffs. Rielly, Liljegren, McCabe, Brodie are all pretty much locks. Bring back Schenn and I'd like to go after a guy like Mayfield. That blue line will be pretty big and physical. The defence is old and slow, this GM will beef up the D.

Shanny's first choice for GM over BT
Realistically BT is plan C given how long the process took. Either it was a done deal a month ago and all the Chiarelli and Bergevin Skype meetings were just theatre to make it look like they did their due diligence or they were waiting for an answer from Nill/Armstrong/McPhee/Wilson and got turned down.
I’m sure Sutter is a huge dbag and pain to play for, but if a player wants 10m, they should be able to put points on the board even if the coach is literally the Babadook.
Anybody else find this stat kinda surprising? I wonder how it stacks off for GM equivalents in other leagues. In fact, only two GMs in NHL history have had winners in two locations, the most recent being Jim Rutherford’s successes in Pittsburgh (2016, 2017) and Carolina (2006). Before him, you have to go back to the early days of the league with Tommy Gorman managing three teams (the original Ottawa Senators, the Montreal Maroons and Chicago Blackhawks) in the 1920s and ’30s.
It’s not a bad position. Lots of cap space….holl and kerfoot are gone.
They have some young kids that need playing time and deserve to be up. Lilly is a top 4 d and Woll is a NHL goalie.
He has some contracts to get done and has a month to do it. The draft is basically set by our scouts and he is prepared too as he was a GM a month ago.
Leafs will be fine…and maybe better then ever with Knies…and McMann etc steeping up
Everything Dubas said in his presser is suspect and open to question is he goes to another club this year so we willI mean Dubas was the one talking about everything being on the table and the possibility of changes in his presser. Shanahan is the one calling the core 4 and telling them they're staying, asking GM candidates if Keefe can stay on. Seems like Shanny is the "run it back" guy is there is one.
Bizarre take for a guy who has had the success he has had....IMO
