While I like the toughness that BT has added, I’ll reserve judgement until I see what he does with the core 4. At the end the day the ’Core 4’ have zero nastiness to their game. They will need to play with an edge for the leafs to win anything in the playoffs. Im not convinced they will ever play that way - so to me a big change there is still needed. How he navigates the salary negotiation and ultimately what he agrees to with Matthews/Nylander/Marner will to me be the biggest impact.
