It's the exact opposite lately, listen to the media right now. They're not tying it in to 9/11, 7/7 or the Oslo incident. They're comparing it to Columbine, Aurora, OKC, Virginia Tech, and Sandy Hook.

They're pushing this one as militia/"homegrown" terror.

Our thoughts and prayers for all Bostonians and visitors. My brother lives in Boston and is ok but the pictures and videos are horrible from the scene. Stay strong Boston.

not sure if serious... but it looks better on the tv in high def. it's definitely a person. if you watch the news for a few minutes it'll show up again i'm sure... certainly no saying if it's a bad guy or somebody just watching and trying to get away.
 
That's definitely a human being but it's hardly definitive of anything really. Most likely just someone getting a good view of the marathon.

Looks fake as hell, like someone photoshopped it into a person shape.

The first still picture doesn't look like a person at all.

once again-- saw it on the news as well. if you want to double check. i would say i'm 90% sure it's a person.. pretty sure they're walking on the news as well, but not 100% on that one

picture is zoomed.. it looked legit on the tv. if you don't think so keep an eye out on the news. i was skeptical as well til i saw it on tv. it looked like a person. idk about the scaling, but it looked right

regardless of whether it is or isn't like said it doesn't mean anything... could just be somebody getting a better view, but it looked sketchy and thought i'd share.

I don't care enough to watch the television, but I thought the picture was interesting, so I commented. It is shady, regardless of it being inconclusive.
 
There is one picture circulating of man in a wheelchair missing both legs at his shins. Harrowing doesn't begin to describe....

As awful as it is, I think it should be seen. We should observe the extent of human atrocity.

Even though moments like this show how terrible people are in the world, the response shows how much more amazing humanity can be in times of need.

Maybe you're right. I just didin't need the nightmares.
 
Being Norwegian, I remember the 7/22 Oslo terrorist attack a couple of years ago very well. These kind of situations are always scary.

Poor guy, he had the look of shock on him. No sign of grimacing pain, just plain shock. :(
