This Chvrches obsession reminds me of the obsession people had with that boy-ish female singer with the moronic kool-aid hair, her name started with an H or something, someone had their avatar as the bro-chick.

Also, their name is Chvrches? That's just stupid. The V instead of U? Wtf is this? Bvlgari?

I should note that both Hayley and Chvrches girl are quite good looking. Neither one looks remotely boyish to me. I am actually a fan of dyed hair too. To each his own I guess.

Does my friend have a right to be mad?:

Matches with a chick on Tinder. They get along great, but she's visiting another city. He mentions that he wants to meet up. She says that once she returns, yes. She returns and they chat some more. She deletes Tinder and then gives him her number from a means that wasn't Tinder. They talk more, he asks her out. No response. He waits four days and is then mad. Is this justified?

"Friend" is me.

annoyed and/or disappointed more than mad I'd say. Then again, I have never been in the dating scene post school, so I don't really know how things work in the real world.

Wait a few more days and message her again. No response? forget her. Chicks can get bored easily, it's all about the chase. So many girls out there.

I donno guys, I think my friend really likes her. And there's a chance he runs into her tomorrow night at a beer thingy.

Dude, it's Tinder. An app made for people that want to find someone quickly to bang. Your "friend" can wait for her and allow these feelings to make him feel the way he does now or accept that he just dodged some STD's and stop using an app to meet some women.

I had a buddy try the app and was in the same situation, the freaking broad literally contacted him 6 months later with "Hey, how's it going?" all nonchalant, lol.

I like asian women, I met my gf when I figured hey, she's hot and so out of my league and I am drunk as hell, I won't remember asking her out and her denying me so go for it. I remembered, she said yes, etc etc.

But out of the two women you posted, I would say the Chvrches chick is cute. Me, I like my women the way I like my take out, Asian.

Tell your friend to play it cool if he see's her at the beer thing. Maybe she got busy and could not message you back? perhaps a family emergency. Could be anything really, just tell him to not care if he see's her because he's got other options aswell.

That's fair I guess. I honestly can't say I have a type.

No, because it's god damned Tinder. What the hell do people expect from that?

Tinder is made for people to get laid, that's it pretty much. I have an account but i don't use it often, i just click yes to every girl pic i see as fast as i can, although i don't talk to my few matches.

I'm obviously using it wrong. 140+ matches, 10ish dates, no sex.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh ****, that could be it. She asked me how many people I met on Tinder. I answered honestly. Maybe she thought I was only in it for the sex.

(shoulda been)

I've dated women of varying backgrounds and I didn't know I had a type either. Well no, not true. I always had a thing for the goddess that is Lucy Liu (as well as Maggie Q and Ming Na...Ming Na has also aged insanely well, my gf's mom is hot, so I'm safe).

God damn, she's a 10/10. At 46, she's hotter than she was at 26.

LOOK AT HER!

She's 45 in that pic. 45!

From the guys and gals I know that use that app, the ones that come off as sincere are the ones that are the ones that end up in your predicament.

It's a pretty straight forward app. You have people saying barely anything on their profile, often suggestive pictures, I mean it sort of paints the picture for you there. The ones that know what the app is for, have amazing results with it (hit it and quit it), again both guys and gals and hey more power to them. I guess it's no different from when I was in College & University trying to pick up chicks at bars, parties, libraries, etc, now you have an app for everything.

Not that I am ancient or anything.

I'm disappointed in myself. Talking through it, yep, that was it.

Been using it wrong. She deleted it because she wasn't into the hookup thing. Didn't respond to me because she thought I was trying to get into those pants. In the long run, yes, I was.
