I think big factor is in what position he will play; center or winger.
- also, how much ice time he will get, will he get top 6 ice time, or bottom 6 ice time
His height, age, lack of pro league experience, those must be taken into consideration
when predicting these things.
He is 18, he is coming straight from the WHL, he is 5 foot 9 center.
Players, goalies are so much better in the NHL what in the juniors.
Players play harder, play better defense and are more physical.
He isn't Connor McDavid, nor does he have his speed, nor physical attributes
He is not Sidney Crosby either.
Yes, the scoring is up, way up even but.. recent years, several years now
has shown how difficult it is to play in the NHL as an 18 year old rookie,
even if you are physically ready, or even with pro league experience.
Even rookies in their early 20's struggle.
