This breaks the slightly annoying streak we had going after the only time we won two consecutive games this season (On Dec 15/16). After that: L, W, L, W, L, W. And now two losses. Least we got the point tonight.
Something I've been wondering about as of late is that Nollenberger has referenced in pregames, a couple times, that we are two points behind Bakersfield for the 8 seed in the playoffs. Except as far as I'm aware, there is no 8 seed in the playoffs. I'm pretty sure 7 teams make it out of the Pacific, and haven't heard anyone other than him say otherwise. And according to this:

Yeah, only 7 get in.
Seriously, it's January and this team does not seem like they're in any hurry to get things going. We're not actually that far behind Colorado (six points) for the seven seed, but at some point the team has to, well, put some wins together.
Couple forwards that have been in and out of the lineup lately that I'm losing hope for. One's Brandon Coe. Granted, I had very little hope for Coe to begin with this season, but he started strong. He's gone back to being very underwhelming and at times invisible, hence the healthy scratches.
The other's Wiesblatt. I've always said he's going to have to make the NHL as a fourth line energy guy. Lately he's cut back on the physicality. But he hasn't had an uptick in offense, so this has basically just made him an unremarkable AHL bottom six winger. Makes me miss Raska, who made his Minnesota Wild debut tonight, just btw.
Aggravating to be in this position. The Barracuda's problem, by the way, is letting goals in. We have no issues scoring them. Feels like we've had an uptick in penalties lately, which isn't helping.
