This should be unacceptable

I was very excited for this season, but it's just one thing after another. Whenever they have one of their dominant wins I start to wonder if they're coming around, and then they just go right back to playing like this again.

It's very frustrating that I thought the forward group was stacked going into the season, and now between callups and injuries we no longer have Carpenter, Bailey, Robins, Kaspick and Lindblom. The Rau signing today will help, but the missing forwards are something that's getting overlooked. Defense is healthy-ish but generally just not as good as I'd hoped it'd be.

There's just too many games where we're getting outworked, playing sloppy, and then going 0 for 6 or something on the power play on top of it. My enthusiasm is really in the gutter right now.

Kaspick is out there for warmups, he’s been out for a bit.

Rau is #91.

We are wearing the “ugly” sweaters.

Interesting lines…

Where did that come from? Cuda dominate the first place Wranglers. Scored twice on that five minute PP. 3-0 is your final.

Best game I’ve seen Muk play, easily. Love to see him let loose some shots.

Tomorrow could be a little ugly. Alex Gallant was making his presence known late and Kuznetsov made the poor decision of dropping the gloves with Sabourin. Hope the Cuda don’t have their usual letdown after a good performance.

Gushchin scores on a 5 on 3, 2-1.

That’s your score after one period. Let’s just say this game is not pretty. Lot of penalties.

Sabourin deflects a Muk shot on the PP to make it 3-1. Still a penaltyfest out here.

Now end of the second. We are 2 for 8 on the power play and they are 0 for 7, that’s how this game is going.
