They need to give the keys mostly to Vanecek.

He's been the FAR superior goalie since February of 2021 and has also been the better goalie here from the start of preseason and now into this season. And that's even with his absolute stinker in the home opener.

The only thing Blackwood has over him is that Vanecek hasn't played as many games as Blackwood yet to deliver up multiple stinkers like Blackwood did to Philly on opening night and Washington.

Just let Vanecek happen.

I was not surprised to see Haula, Tatar and Zetterlund in top-6 in the same time. Ruff(or Brunnette) tried to have more players who can play against or be hard to play against.

The odds of him becoming Toews are slim to none. Marino could be a great #2 but Toews was already posting ELITE numbers when he was moved and is not like arguably a top 10 D in the league.

Well, Avs fans would have you believe it was literally the worst game that has ever been played in the history of hockey and we should garner no joy from it. We were just slightly better than horrendous and it was enough to win.
