I wouldn't say steal, we played them pretty even tbh. But definitely the best G game so far this year.

I'm even more impressed that we won a game without having to outshoot the other team by 20+ shots.

That and actually having to hold onto a one-goal lead late...pretty much everything that's been a bugaboo the last few years (special teams, goaltending, late-game defense) wound up on the plus end tonight.

While Vanicek was very good, I wouldn't say he stole the game since we still outplayed them. We're just used to losing these ones.

What makes you think they'd go back to Blackwood. They ran with Blackwood when he was running. Then he had a stinker and they went back to Vanecek. They'll stay with Vanecek until he gives them a reason to swap. That's how this season is going to go.

Because I’ve gotten used to this team pulling the football away as we run up to kick it.

Of course Blackwood shouldn’t start.
