Not Too Soft
Haven't been following along with Voting patterns these past few years, I take it...At 18 teams, taking the last #1 goalie probably is an advantage.

Hopefully we're not going back to the pre-Enlightment period when people used to say and think ridiculous things such as this.At 18 teams, taking the last #1 goalie probably is an advantage.
Groupthink posing unironically as enlightenment? How rich.Hopefully we're not going back to the pre-Enlightment period when people used to say and think ridiculous things such as this.
Because the drop-off of reliable championship goalies happens after #18.Wouldn't having a smaller draft with BETTER scoring lines make a great puckstopper MORE valuable?

Sure. It's all about opportunity cost. While that's true, having the weakest goalie is still a weakness, regardless of how many there are.
Best centre available.I've been trying to convince myself to pick somebody else, but I can't. I'll select my team's captain, Bobby Clarke.

I've had Clarke twice before. Great #1 centre but I'm not sure he was the best available.
I think this guy could be, at pick 26 a guy I think has gotten undervalued around here over the past few years Stan Mikita
I've never selected this player before, but have always wanted to. He seems to be good value here, and is a great counter to some of the huge offensive threats in my conference.
Chicago selects Frank Nighbor, C
Okay, I got excited. All 3 Cs are great top 30 players all time.I've had Clarke twice before. Great #1 centre but I'm not sure he was the best available. ...

Nighbor and Lafleur, the last of the arguably marginal top-10 all time players.
The cliff is real.
