Claude has been PMed.

Ken Hitchcock, Coach

4th all time in regular season wins , 10th all time in playoff wins

Stanley Cup winner in 1999, runner up in 2000

Jack Adams winner in 2012; finalist in 1997, 1998, 1999

3 x Olympic Gold Medalist (2002, 2010, 2014)
World Cup Gold Medalist (2004)
World Junior Gold Medalist (1988)

Great pick, unsurprisingly I strongly considered Hitch considering I have Modano.

In 15+ years of ATD picking I have never picked my beloved Linden, Peca, Hossa or Ovechkin. But, after all these years, one of my favs finally has fallen to where I think him a great value...

The Golden Eagles select 6'2 215 lbs. elite skating speed, accurate eye-hand coordinating, hard-working two-way committed but nonphysical... Patrick Marleau! yeah, his vs.x (73+) is better than Peter Bondra and Glenn Anderson and a half dozen other top-6 role forwards, but Patty's commitment to the stationary bike for pre-season and during season training, his ability to absorb hits, remain injury-free and skate effortlessly, his excellent eye-hand coordination to bury pucks not fan on them netside, his willingness to go the extra mile when all is on the line to get game winners, all speak to my love of #12, the40-year-old present-day old man who is one regular season game-winning goal shy of only Howe, Jagr and Esposito, tied with Jagr in career playoff game winners. Marleau has 5 times been #1 in Sharks game-winning goals, 16 times top-3 in such, and some wonder why the Shark Tank season ticket holders have voted him six times the franchise fan favorite player?!

A stunning playoff game winner in Vancouver by Patty Marleau, a career-long great skater, great eye-coordinating puck finisher, uncreative nonphysical forward at his best as an opportunistic netside winger strong enough to withstand dman checks by the crease.

Marleau was chosen for - and played well in - two Olympic gold-medal tourneys for Canada, scoring 5 points including the first goal in a close 3-2 semifinal victory in 2010 then leading all Canadians in assists as a top-6 role two-way winger on the Toews line in the 2014 tourney.

At age 40.5 years old,.. see his effortless speed and eye-hand coordination at work in his last game before our pick:

"... flying in, backhand, a chance,... he scores! Marleau!"

To bad the Pens are currently playing like a bunch of losers. He came over at just the right time! Honestly, at this point, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see the Pens bounced in round 1 just like that last year.

"smooth and classy" - just like me

When numbers don't favor you, keep crunching!

Was that supposed to mean something?

They’re calculated the same way as he regular vs x

I know lol, I was the one that originally calculated them. I lost all the numbers, and can't find my original post with them. Just wanted to know if someone had them handy so that I don't have to redo the work.

I know this isnt super helpful, but I believe they are in one of the 2018 ATD Draft threads.
