Adam graves

hipefully I’ve redistributed what Gillies-Trottier-Bossy is with Graves-Trottier-Neely.

Babcock can then throw the pony line out next for a vastly different but still well balanced look.

graves is babcock’s wet dream.

Graves is a pretty good pick at this point in the draft. Always liked him. Obviously not a 1st liner and ideally not a top 6 player in an ATD (many of us will be in the same boat, using a guy in a top 6 role that we typically wouldn’t), but in a 40 team draft he becomes one. Good glue guy.

The Portland Penguins select Kimmo Timonen, D.

Really good pick at this point.

I was a bit torn between him and Flash Hollett for my top PP QB a little bit ago and decided on Hollett partly because he was more interesting to profile. Also, I figured Lutchenko was better suited to cover for Hollett's gambles at even strength than Timonen's lack of size.

Timonen has a fairly rare and valuable skillset in that he was defense-first at even strength but a strong PP QB

Nice pick on Joseph, I was actually deciding between Joseph and another goalie for my last Radz pick but since I couldn't decide quickly and was already late, I just picked Demers who I knew I wanted for that team. I actually think the other guy is a better fit for my team, I just liked Joseph more and was more familiar watching him (the Wings under Holland were a classy organization in general but they really did Joseph wrong...)

But the other guy will have to wait for a while, as I can't risk losing out on this guy, Radz take Brian Bellows.

Bellows is a good and tough scoring winger who could (and did) play both wings. He was overlooked as one of the best power forwards of his time, maybe because he wasn't that big, but he certainly played that game. He's best when he's not only looking to be a scoring star but playing that physical game and being defensively responsible as well, so lucky for him, Demers is his coach. He'll either play with Hawerchuk in a more scoring role or Nicholls in a more physical role while also scoring. He'll play on the powerplay.

Here is a clip showing how much opponents respected Bellows. They call him the "best" and a "superstar", marvel at his ability to play through pain, wish he'd get off the ice to stop killing their team, compliment his finesse and grace with references to the fairer sex, worry about his ability to draw penalties, and even highlight his creativity which doesn't just manifest on the ice but in the bedroom as well.

I'll take another good two-way center with an active stick and select Bill Thoms, C

So much for RDs being harder to find. At least 5 I'd have picked right now.

I seem to recall @Voight saying that he would be busy for the next little while and that he was going to send someone his list for his next pick or two. Did anyone end up getting that?

He hasn’t been on since Saturday morning and he made it sound like he wouldn’t really be on for a few days.

I didn't receive anything.

He has until 1:33 PM (1 hour) to pick.

@rmartin65 would then be up.
