it's too late for this now.. .the consolation series are posted. i think we do what VI said.
How does the series being posted change anything?
How does the series being posted change anything?
well, I guess they could just be halted. No big deal.
I am fine with VI's idea too...just take 2 of the 3 teams at random and have them play each other.
The way I read it, VI was suggesting the two bottom teams (6th and 7th) of the Cole Division should play each other. And then the winner plays the 5th seed.
is keeping the seeding secret that important for these series?
You voted for the system...
we voted on a system that puts teams in divisions randomly and makes no attempt to balance them?
I mean I may be wrong, but I don't recall this being voted on. Was it? and when?
Sorry? The system is the same just only the top 4 teams from the division make it to the playoffs. the matching is the same
1v4
2v3
we just don't know who is who
the divisions were constructed the same as usual 1, 2, 3, 4 picks each in their own and then repeat until every team was in a division
he's not talking about this part. complaining about this would be stupid.
he's talking about this. if we ever needed a case study to show how stupid this is, it's this year, and this division.
The divisions were made randomly I don't see what the problem is, I think artificially moving gms around for balance sake is stupid
as opposed to this? ok then.
I feel this discussion is inappropriate for this thread and all those posts should be deleted. As for whether I voted for the system, I don't recall but it's possible.I have the impression that I have always preferred ranking the conferences and ignoring divisions altogether, but if I'm wrong, well, I'm not above doing stupid stuff.
Nah, what happened is one division got abnormally stacked with veterans and we knew before the draft this was going to be a bloodbath
