Let's extend the voting period. Aside from the lack of turnout, HF is also crapping out today.

Sorry guys, it's been something of a tumultuous last couple of weeks for me. I've had very little energy for anything else.

I'll vote by the end of the weekend.

Just to be clear, do both Cyborg Yzerman and myself each get a vote or do we have to reach a consensus?

Either or. If you vote separately then your votes count as half each.

You may not have till the end of the weekend, from the looks of it.

While we're waiting for more ballots, here's a question: I remember a few comments about how the divisional playoff series are a bit of a repetitive exercise after the divisional rankings. "We're basically voting on the same thing twice", that's the line I remember. So the question is: would you guys rather switch to extra-divisional series (Cole vs Lecavalier, Hewitt vs Robson) in the first round of the playoffs? Or would you rather stick with the intra-divisional series? (The seeding is going to remain "hidden" = not made public until the playoffs are over, either way.)

I don't think we can change that now. Maybe something for next year

I like this idea for next year... or, even, just having conference rankings. 1v8, 2v7, etc. Of course, it depends on the numbers working out.
