Playing against Dubinsky and Hartnell is going to be outstandingly annoying next season lol.

Rumors going around Fartsmell asked for a trade. Also, he had one really good season in Philadelphia. Big deal. He's not as good as people are making him seem. Mainboard is all "CBJ WON AINEC."

CBJ did win because Umberger sucks and Hartnell is good, but we'll see how long before Hartnell's decline.

Philly got bent over in this deal, great. What I am not happy about is that CBJ just got markedly tougher and better. Umberger is a plug, Hartnell is a top-6 winger

Actually, the stats show they're both pretty mediocre overall.

We'll see how Hartnell does away from Giroux and Voracek who has one of the best CF% Rel in the league at 11th overall, and FF% Rel at 6th overall.

Not to mention in his "good year" Hartnell was shooting at a 15.9%sh and the past two seasons around 10%sh, so yeah.

Umberger is atrocious. His best season is still worse than Hartnell's worst season.

So what. You save three years. Oooooh.

Horrid trade. Hartnell is still a very good player when not acting a fool. The Philly circus is way different than Columbus.

And they traded him in the division!

Hextall off to a hot start lol

Hartnell goes against fairly weak competition overall, but you'd think playing with Dubi, who's a pretty good puck possession player himself, he won't suddenly drop to Umberger's level.

No matter how Hartnell plays, CBJ got even more annoying.

This has the potential to be a nice win for CBJ. Umberger just sucks now. What the hell was Hextall thinking with this move?

Personally, I think he is thinking that the Flyers as they are currently built are not going to win a 'Cup. He is correct. Umberger will come off the books sooner than Hartnell would have.

Maybe he is going to do what a new GM should and clean the mess the last one made, rather than just try to cover it up? What can Hextall do right now that will make Philadelphia contender that can beat LA, Chicago, or even Boston and the Rangers? I don't think he is going to full rebuild, but I assume he has a plan and this is part of it.

Hartnell had one good season and is a pylon. Philly wanted to get faster. And word was Hartnell didn't get along with Berube.

Philly is lucky, they have Simmonds and Voracek on the wing. However, Hartnell was always a pain in the ass to play against.

And they're weak basically everywhere else.

They're really not lucky, other than having two of the best RWs in the league.

I would kill for Voracek though. Flat out dominant player in all aspects.
