Wasn't that 36 hours before the game? That title seems misleading. 36 hours before a game is no big deal to me, IMO. It's not like they were the night before.

VANCOUVER — Sorry, Canada.

Vancouver Canucks coach John Tortorella has apologized for favouring Sweden over Canada in the men’s Olympic gold-medal hockey game.

“If I have insulted anybody, that certainly wasn’t my intention and I think all of you know that,” he said after practice Tuesday. “But it was a careless use of words and where I should be more cognizant. I want to clear that up.”

Tortorella said he wanted Sweden to win in order to help struggling Canucks defenceman Alex Edler and winger Daniel Sedin turn their seasons around. Edler and Sedin played for Sweden in the Games while goaltender Roberto Luongo and Dan Hamhuis were members of the gold-medal-winning Canada squad.

Who is this idiot on the NHL Network now talking about the Eastern Conference and saying "they do so many things good?" He no speak English too good? Seriously, he's not even a former player that got there because of that. There's no excuse for the NHL Network getting hacks like this.
 
NHL Network against showing how great there are. "Detroit is the only team in playoff position that has a better road record than home". Um...Rangers? All he had to do is check NHL.com for that information. Brutal.

Seriously for the most part all he talked about was the pens...and than he jumped to Philly and finally the rangers and all he said is Nash needs to be good... do these guys do their homework?
 
Why the hell are the Sabres involved in so many Wednesday Night Rivalry games on NBCSN? They know the Sabres suck right? How unlucky have they been that a lot of the only games happening on Wednesdays included the Sabres :laugh:
 
Wow the Bruins sure got screwed there. Myers should have been penalized and instead scores the PP goal....
 
Marchand gets called for a penalty. Myers got away with a free punch on that same Marchand penalty and scores on the PP. Lucic takes a run at someone in the corner and now Buffalo with another PP.. Buffalo leads 2-1
