Eriksson Ek just went on IR another good landing spot for TFred. Wild deep deep prospect pool. So if Donny and Bill is as tight as you say and if your sharing insider info and it is credible I’m expecting one of IRiley heidt or Danil Yurov to be a Bruin by March 8th and if not them give me BuiumI like trades and I like drafting so I’m pretty excited ~ Sweeney swings for it. Guerin & Donny are very tight couple of Ahhhndover boys - Wild has deep prospect pool
I’m sharing info as an under the radar insider but more importantly…..

Ok wink twice if one of those three are coming backI want Coyle next to Poitras - helps defensively if body
They are very close
Well at the time I, did not mind giving Monty a chance, although when I said that I, also said that they should have brought Mark Recchi, in as an assistant, in chance that Monty did not workout, that might have been a nice backup, and some of the players still here knew and respected him. I will also say I do not want to see Chris Kelly or Jay Leach here much longer. He’s been much better
Donny Hockey mentioned he started off recovering from injury
Monty wanted out coached like shit
I don’t know anyone who had an underlying relationship who got divorced and remarried quicker than Monty
Terrible hiring by Donny
His hiring F’d them a likely Cup - had he hired Maurice or went with Sacco Magic they win the Cup
No idea I just know those two will be discussing thisOk wink twice if one of those three are coming back![]()
With Eriksson EK now being out for sometime hopefully their talks will ramp up.I want the B’s in on every young guy getting buried by dumb coaches
Like Zacha & Geekie were
No idea I just know those two will be discussing this
Wild is deep as heck Bruins very shallow
Different Conference
It’s all right there
I am not worried about what the players around the league think, I think many of them understand it is a business, that should have no effect on them. I also could give a shit less about Sam Bennett. The only thing on your list that pushes me toward moving him is if you know you can re-sign him in July. If he gets hurt at some point in the future? That's the worry with anyone. What if he wants $5.25 over 2 years? That's a discount for a 60 point guy with intangibles. He's 37? Yeah he is, but he looked great with good players at 4nations, he still carries a line.
Let me flip this thinking on you...
What if you deal Marchand against his wishes, and it really resonates negatively with players around the league and Boston loses it's allure as a destination for players.
What if a promising UFA, let's use Sam Bennett as an example, was planning to sign here to play with Marchy because he had chemistry and they really got along off the ice but now he's not interested because Marchand isn't here and he doesn't really know anyone else.
What if you waste Pasta's prime? With Marchand, you still need a 1c and a top6 W, without Marchand you need a 1c and TWO top6 W's. And it's not enough to just get someone skilled. Ehlers (who I like) is skilled, but is he going to drag this team into the fight? Who's replacing that? Playoff rounds aren't just won by skill they're won by will. How long will it take to replace that element?
People say I never criticize Sweeney but that was a bad move in hindsight & my biggie was Vaakanainen over Robert Thomas (you can throw Josh Norris in) but Thomas was apparently their guyWell at the time I, did not mind giving Monty a chance, although when I said that I, also said that they should have brought Mark Recchi, in as an assistant, in chance that Monty did not workout, that might have been a nice backup, and some of the players still here knew and respected him. He’s a great guy - lives near me. He’s got a newborn so he will be in Pro Shop getting stuff at some point. I’ll bring him by - I’ve told him Sweeney hate aside (and he bashes him as well so you guys will have something in common) you are a very nice and intelligent/interesting guy which dwarfs what we think of GMs
I gotta grab that pups Calendar hope they got one
So I’m GM
1. Marchand - need an extension should be easy enough ~ Bergeron took 5 M no ego wanted to win. Where is he here
2. I would like to deal Korpi and bring up a Providence G
3. Coyle - I’m keeping and having him play RW and available to play C
If I get overwhelmed obviously would but I need a lot - can’t see him wanting to go and don’t blame.
4. Carlo same as Coyle ~ have to get a bounty
5. Frederic trade
6. Braz trade
7. Beecher - I’m listening and I might be at where Farinacci gets chance - looks legit
8. Multi year deal for Geekie
Haha love it - I think you should have been a writer for Rolling Stone (I gotta see if I have my 1977 Aerosmith cover copy still)Pro Shop is open until one hour after the game ends. I will be there from 4 to close. If Mr. Hat feels like saying hello, please let him know. Just tell him to look for the small fellow engaged in animated conversation with customers, or himself.
I'll see if I can set aside a pup calendar.
I’m dropping Coyle to where he excels - L3 Jack of all tradesThat's where I'm at too although I'm leaning more towards trading Coyle than keeping. I want an upgrade at that spot ( 2nd RW ).
Caps have a deep group of young F and not a lot of room if they get FredericTrent Frederic
Bruins GM Don Sweeney didn’t exactly wave the white flag on this season, but acknowledged his team’s shortcomings and left the door open to significant roster changes – which would likely include shipping out a pending free agent in Frederic. The Bruins and Frederic’s camp have not made progress on a contract extension.
Potential Suitors
Washington Capitals: The Caps are looking for a third line center and Frederic could be united with his longtime foe in Wilson, which would make for some interesting theater. Plus, these teams did complete some other recent deadline acquisitions.
New Jersey Devils: It’s certainly a question as to whether Frederic is an upgrade over Erik Haula. But for a Devils team that isn’t overly physical, Frederic would add size and inject a new element.
Toronto Maple Leafs: Frederic did score three goals against the Leafs in that seven-game series last spring, the first of GM Brad Treliving’s tenure. He’d appreciate Frederic’s physicality, for sure.
Minnesota Wild: The Wild are always in the market for some center depth. Would they be a candidate to re-sign Frederic and turn him into a non-rental acquisition?
Edmonton Oilers: This isn’t a perfect fit, because in reality Edmonton could use a right-shooting, fourth line center. But that size and element is what they might be seeking. So impossible to completely rule it out.
Vancouver Canucks: On a team where center depth has eroded this season, Frederic could make sense for a playoff push in Vancouver.

Bruins’ Trent Frederic a ‘pain in the ass’ contenders crave at Trade Deadline
If the Bruins wave the white flag, teams should pounce on the big agitator as a trade target.www.dailyfaceoff.com
I think a lot of folks here are suffering from Stockholm Syndrome or something... it's like, because we stink this year all our players are bad. What do we think of the building blocks on this roster?
Are they pieces you can work with, and be in cup contention within say three years?
The 2007 Bruins had Savard, Bergeron, and Krejci down the middle.
To me, until you find a way to acquire a number one center, you’re screwed.
Who?
How?
Well to be honest with you, I have said it many times, coaches have expiration dates, but I still do not believe Cassidy should have been fired, I think Bergeron had too much to say about it and I get he was defending his teammates, but sorry I just don't but into he was to tough, suck it up boys, you are playing a game, you love and get paid well for it, Bergeron, could have handled different, Marchand did not seem upset about, but he is not the whining type, good for him.People say I never criticize Sweeney but that was a bad move in hindsight & my biggie was Vaakanainen over Robert Thomas (you can throw Josh Norris in) but Thomas was apparently their guy
Also not securing Binghamton over McIntyre and sending him back to Blures in 2018 after a year with goalie coach Mike Dunham

Jordan Binnington credits time in Providence for preparing him to face Boston in Stanley Cup Finals
Jordan Binnington will start for the St. Louis Blues against the Boston Bruins in the 2019 Stanley Cup Finals. Interestingly, he played for our Providence Bruins, the B’s American Hockey League affiliate last season and also received a nod to play in the AHL All-Star Game. At the start of last...www.rihhof.com

So essentially run the same problematic lineup back, a year older, with maybe Ehlers/Boeser as your hopeful/only impact star offseason signing? I don’t see how this fixes anything, or takes advantage of assets to improve the future.Bruins openings to me 25-26
Geekie - Zacha- Pastrnak
Marchand - Lindholm - XXXX
XXXX- Poitras- Coyle
Beecher - Kastelic - XXXX
I think we get more than expected. A first or 2nd and 4th.I would eat 1/2 his salary and try to package him with another player for a top prospectFreddy rumors picking up
Let's also not pretend that Brad Marchand is injury prone and misses lots of time. He played 82 last year and has never, ever missed significant time. I agree, most guys fall off a cliff after 30, but Marchand isn't most guys. He set a career high at 31. He's currently on pace to score 29 goals without a 2C or a 2RW.Yea let’s not pretend like a minor injury to an almost 37 year old that has been out through the post season wringer with history of surgeries is the same as most players though. It’s not apples to apples. His risk of a career ending injury is higher than probably 98% of the league. Bergy, Krecji, and Rask all recentely mentioned how they can barely play a round of golf, you think Marchand is any different right now? Bergy was putting up points just like Brad but ended it because his body couldn’t take it and didn’t want to have an ugly out.
I think Brad is a proud, sometimes too proud, warrior type player that is more likely to power through until it’s too late honestly. So I think you realllllly need to think hard on that type of money, especially if the term is more than a year.
And talking about Pastas prime as a reason to keep him assumes that you think we can legit contend asap without the picks that Brad can bring in. Also assumes he stays scoring like this which again, age says unlikely and already has shown. You are light years a better team over the next 4 years with what you can bring in by trading him in the right way.
Not for me. Last time we had 3 top pics it didn’t go so well and that was a stacked draft. If were selling I'd trade all 4 Frederic marchy carlo and geekie for a 1st round pick each. Imagine having 5 first round picks in total in this years draft.
Could be true.Cassidy team wins game 7 in 2019 probably still here
I am operating under the assumption Don’s account is really being run by my wife considering how often it changes its mind. Minds.
And yes. Out of that list Marchand is the only one that’s going to get you a 1st.I believe Geekie and Carlo would get you a first plus.
I think that lineup/approach would be a HUGE risk for Sweeney to take.Bruins openings to me 25-26
