The Devils are responsible for shrinking the hockey market and dropping the salary cap by $1,000,000.

Think I'd rather DET won that game. A Wildcard will feel so medicore and average. We need to be better than that. Won the East in 11-12, 6th seed last year. 6th-8th every other year since the first lockout. Lets be better than 6th.

I want 2nd in the Metro and most points behind PIT and BOS. Its there for the taking and I see nothing that tells me TB, TOR, MTL etc are better than us.

MTL/TOR are one thing, but Tampa Bay is legit. They're still third in the conference, and they've been without Stamkos for awhile now.

They just lost Filppula to injury. He's been one of the only reasons Tampa are still alive.

If one of them don't come back soon Tampa will fall out of a playoff spot. They need those two badly.

Well, yeah, any team missing two of their top three centers is gonna struggle.

Tyler Johnson has been huge and continues to add more depth to Tampa's lineup.

Tyler Johnson has been insanely impressive. Top 3 Calder Candidate IMO.

The Devils, The Kings of the Loser Points , run out of luck last night. I hope they'll just go away into the darkness forever and ever .
 
Yep. NJ games are hard to watch too. What a stale team. I lol'd pretty good when they choked away their precious tie. OT points, that's all they're playing for.
 
The Devils also have an extremely mediocre prospect pool. They have like two significant forward prospects who have roughly second and third/fourth line ceilings respectively. Also for all the talk of their pool of d-man prospects, I don't think it's that great. That blue line will have depth, but I don't think any of Gelinas, Merill, or Larsson will be a #1 for them.

It's still crazy that the Devils didn't forfeit that pick after their cup run. They would actually be able to sell right now, but then again I doubt Lou would swallow his pride like that.
