Karlsson with a bad defensive play ends up in the back of the Sharks net. Maybe his minus rating isn’t an aberration.
Good story for him to get one against Vancouver. It would however be nice if the Islanders don't get yet another two points tonight.

And Horvat gets his goal anyways. But a quick answer from the Canucks gets it back to within one.
Sharks can’t score the game tying goal on a 4 minute power play to end the game. They are useless.
At least EP40 unloaded from the point to tie the Vancouver-NYI game.

Saw a rumor Pool Party might get placed on waivers in the next few days.
Is that out of somewhere reputable? It would be an interesting moment for teams with cap space.

3 points behind Islanders, 5 games in hand
3 points behind Pittsburgh, even games
4 points behind Washington, 3 games in hand
It's all right there for the Sabres. Just have to actually win those games in hand...

From what players really think as they watch teams they’re in competition with add to the makeup of the current roster to asking why the hell people are afraid the front office is going to add something that destroys their team. Also I don't think people realize Kevyn puts himself in a position of leverage by saying he doesn't have to make a move and they're just going to stay the course if they can't get the right deal done. Oh you want more than what we've offered? Well we'll just walk away and keep building with our current core. Our timeline is plenty long enough to where we don't have to panic.
If he says he really wants to make a trade, the other GM will try and squeeze him because they know he feels necessary to make a move.
