Jeeeeez. I woulda thought that RyJo at 50% would have been worth SOMETHING. Even some sort of mid-round pick.

There are some posters on the Preds board that seem to think there was a culture/locker room issue with RyJo, and Trotz has the clout to do something about it.

I know a lot of people are going to assume that the Preds are going fully into rebuild mode, but I find it hard to believe a 60-year old Trotz wants to hit the reset button for the next 3-5 years (or longer).

we should ban the singing of national anthems then.

As an European, the singing of the anthem before every game is absolutely ridiculous and frankly laughable. The singing of a national anthem is supposed to be something special, doing it every other night just devalues it. Reserve it for special occasions - winter classic, SC final, international games - then it would actually mean something and it will be a real occasion when it's sung.

Re-tool would be moving out Duchene/McDonough, getting whatever they can and inserting youth with a decent veteran core.

I don't think Roy was ever available in any way.

And Durzi isn't worth much more than a 2nd. He struggles defensively, though he is good offensively.
