Didn’t Gallant comment on that? Said something like ‘he’s saved us so many times I’m not gonna complain when he does one silly thing’.
yes, that was said in front of the press, but God only knows what was said behind closed doors. he wouldn't want to embarrass his star goalie, correct?

Should have bet the house on PIT/CAR going to OT.
Yeah, the one thing that EVERYBODY was hoping wouldn't happen. Surely enough, damn. Was anybody else rooting for Pittsburgh to win in regulation?
I know I was. you see, I still have hopes of taking first place.

So, with this upcoming four game Road Trip, where teams are very good in their own Barn, (except for a pedestrian Winnipeg home record) So, I suppose a 2-2 record we should at least expect. But, a 3-1 trip would be very nice indeed.
Really would like to win in St Louis, as a large number of their fans on HF boards were saying the Rangers aren't that good if that's all they have. Also saying don't worry we'll get them in "our barn" next week.

The only leader that would do this up front, on this Rangers team is Kreider, Goodrow that can be in the top 9. Even Toews from the Blackhawks sticks up for his teammates. And people think Panarin and Mika are good leaders. A leader sticks up for their teammates at all costs. Top 6 is way too finesse for the playoffs in the top 6 in my opinion

I’m feeling a little better about the comraderie lately. They haven’t been pushovers this year like they have been in the past.

True but would Mika or Panarin drop the gloves in a heated battle to defend their teammate? I doubt it but yet some teammates call them leaders. Heck Strome had to defend himself after this hit although he knows how to fight and is willing.

this is the same guy that turned a blind eye to his teammate getting abused by a member of the coaching staff? oh yeah hes a great leader and captain cuz he dropped his gloves!

Just to clarify, you’re talking about Toews right? Assuming so, it’s a good point.

The Sharks need to get their shit together and beat Nashville and Edmonton needs to beat MTL. The last thing I want to deal with in a few weeks is playoff traffic.

The fact that Nash's jersey retirement wasn't BJs-Rangers is a real pointed FU to NYR

Considering he was in the Rangers organization for years. I guess they wanted the Bruins because it was the last team Nash played for although Bluejackets Rangers would have been a great game for Nash night

Jake Voracek scored with 1.8 ties it at 4-4

Voracek would have been a good add at the deadline. Always been a fan of his. Good player

Strome and Laf would but neither are really killers.

True. At least Stromer is always willing and yet fans complain about him when he does fight. I wish the other skilled forwards had some bite to their game. One reason I want Goodrow in the top 9. I was talking about Panarin and Mika, would they ever stick up for a teammate?
