I don't think so. They wallopped them 6-1. Washington had more hits all night. Carolina is too fast for them. That series won't go more than five.

Washington won 3 out of 4 this season.

Washington turned it off after the SHG. They looked like the Rangers look after a Georgie back breaker

Carolina has a bitchiness to them... It can play into the hands of Washington over a 7 game set

I think Carolina could be bullied. If they match with Washington, it could get ugly.

Hopefully Svech learned from last time and doesn't challenge anyone.

Carolina has a lot of guys who are prone to losing their composure when frustrated. Svecknikov, DeAngelo, Domi, even Aho. That can swing a playoff series. Its not like they've got a track record of deep postseason success either.

Jared McCann not getting 2 shots on goal last night cost me 878 dollars.

I had a 6 way parlay and the first 5 all hit and the 6th one was just McCann needing to get over 1.5 shots on goal. Of course he only got 1 shot, which he score on. So pissed.

My buddy missed a +1700 parlay because Jokic needed 27 and missed 4 FTs in the last minute. Pain.

Yeah I mean McCann had the easiest odds too to his 2 SOG. This is only the 3rd time since 1/23 (21 games) that he has had less than 2 shots on goal. It should've been a slam dunk, the other 5 parts of my parlay were all harder to hit. I could've been him to score at least a point and the odds being so much better for me I would've prob won over a grand on this bet. I'm just pissed bc it was the first time I've ever bet more than like 5 bucks on a big parlay (I bet 75) and I was that close to hitting. Stupid McCann.

So I was curious after looking at the league stats this morning and did a little digging. Using 20 games played as the cutoff (since it was a shortened season) there were 22 players in the NHL with 1.0 points per game or better last year.

Using 35 games as the cutoff for this year (since it’s about half of where we currently are in the schedule) there’s 35 players who are point per game or better. That’s a pretty big increase.

And he missed the last 4 games of the year and almost got seriously hurt as his head almost hit the ice. Our top guys should not be fighting. We have other guys who can do that.

The top scorers in the league have separated themselves even further.

It really feels like PP scoring is way up. I don't know about Even-Strength but both could be affected by the crackdown on crosschecks. One of the reasons Kreider is having the year he's having.
