no one in chicago is crying over it with their 3 cups but stan bowman trade away or lost every 1st round pick from 2010-2017

2010: Kevin hayes lost as ufa
2011: Mark McNeil (traded for oduya) & Philip Danault (traded for troy bouwer)
2012: Teravainen (given to carolina to get rid of bickell)
2013: Ryan Hartman (traded)
2014; Nick Schmaltz (traded for dylan strome)
2015: pick traded for vermette
2016: pick traded for andrew ladd
2017: Jokiharju (traded for alex nylander)

some of those trades are good ones cause they played a big part in winning the cup so you can't regret them...obviously the killer is losing teravainen to unload a salary. but man to thats still crazy. i thought we traded away alot of 1st

Still cant wrap my head around the trading of Jokiharju. 20 year old RHD that put up 12 points while averaging 18 minutes per game in a half season. For a essentially a bust.

Quick Gorton call about Boqvist!

Can't wrap my head around trading Schmaltz, 22 year old C that put up 52 in 78 the year before. For essentially a bust!

I feel sad for MDZ

Why though? At least he got a deal and will get to play. Anaheim/Orange County CA is a great area. Ducks are struggling now but they have a lot of young talent coming from San Diego who are NHL ready, and think they can squeeze into a playoff spot.

How different would have Del Zotto's career been if he waited an extra season to play and went back to the OHL in 2009-10? He couldn't handle NY being a Teen Beat model then. Still he's had a decent career, won a Cup, and now he gets to go back to Orange County and make like $400K+ after agent fees and taxes are taken out. Not a bad life.

Ferlund to Vancouver: THAT made me laugh. I don't get to post much during the week because of my extremely stressful job, but that team loves overpaying bottom sixers. Roussell, Beagle, Bartschi, Sutter, and now Ferlund. Add that to Eriksson and they have the most mismanaged cap in the league.
