I'll take his defense since he can put up points. Jets fans will be nicer to him than most Rangers fans. His defense wasn't great but it wasnt from a lack of trying. It could have been worse. I was a fan although getting Trouba is definitely worth it. Luckily we locked him up longterm.

They were lucky to get a point because Wheeler hit the post twice with a few seconds to go in regulation. That would have been glorious.

Yeah that is true. Couldn't believe Wheeler didn't score there. Devils can also say they missed some easy opportunities as well. The result was apropos tho overall.

Bottom line is Debbies choked huge and it couldn't happen to a finer team. What would be really nice is if Buffalo can beat them tomorrow and really take some more of that cockiness they have had this whole offseason and preseason.
