I’d be genuinely curious to see how one of the best athletes in all sports holds up after a few months around the country club. My brain says he’s too talented and won’t succumb, but the country club is undefeated.
He has a phenomenal work ethic off the ice. Maybe it rubs off

We will when Connor McDavid is a Ranger in three years.

Must be nice to have an iota of accountability and leadership in the locker room. With this milquetoast group, it's "eh, get 'em next time, let's go play some ping pong"
The problem is everyone on the rangers is best buddies , they don’t want to hurt each others feelings.

Nobody on LA (or in society in general) likes Drew Doughty so he doesn’t have to worry about burning any bridges.

Watching the third period of Oilers/Hawks. The Oilers are playing with a tremendous amount of confidence, and it's fun to watch.

Gallagher only has a phone hearing for what, imo, is the dirtiest hit in the league since Wilson tried to murder Sundqvist.

Cannot believe it's capped at 5 games even though he's a first time offender. The most blatant attempt to injure I've seen in a long time.

More evidence to the players that the refs and the league are not looking out for them.

Basically this.

Even if it wasn't, the hit and the outcome is about as bad as it gets. I'm sure he'll get the max 5 but that isn't enough. This was easily an 8+ hit.

5 games for Gallagher and people are surprised. Could happen to a nicer guy. This is how he's been playing his whole career, but TSN's tendency for projection makes players like Kreider and Trouba seem evil.
