I mean if there’s anything to get on them about it’s that these are both guys who were signed (or re-signed) a few months ago.

I have a hard time believing that people around the game did not know what was up (and judging by how some of the other teams handled shit or tried to handle shit this summer, I’m pretty positive everyone did know who was allegedly involved.)

At the very least, I think we can remove the saint label from Fitzgerald now.

McLeod is a Devil's 1st round draft pick. Sure an RFA. You nor I have any clue what their due diligence looks like. Formenton bounced two season ago, not this summer. I had no clue who'd get named so I don't know how "they knew" unless you just blanket blacklist any player on that WJC team you are just concocting a story to dump on the Devils which I can appreciate but none of that is fact.
