Not sure what to make of it, but I'm intrigued that the recent standout top picks are shooters/scorers. Matthews, Hughes, Bedard. McDavid is technically an exception, but he could put up 60 every season if he wanted.

Bedard was 17 years old this year.

17.

Islanders fans blaming the refs for calling an early whistle back and giving pittsburgh a good goal on a 1-0 goal and blames the next 6 goals on the shape of Long Island and the way it's been eroded into by the waves and wind and tectonic movement of the earth's plates.

Touchdown Steelers

you absolutely love to see it

this guy reeks of loser energy

Turns out the answer was that both him and Tony D were both locker room cancers. Good riddance to both.

I mean this was Shesty 1 month ago...

That's goalies for you, most of them are borderline psychopaths.

Nah yo it’s only notable if Jovo doesn’t like the player. If he does it’s passion/swag/rizz.

Georgiev is a dope though. I get his frustration with what was going on In front of him in that OT as he was
hung out to dry but that game never gets to OT if he can stop a simple wraparound.

I have been the biggest Georgiev simp on this board. He has been trash lately, and arguably lost the game for the Avs yesterday. That said, I just find it funny how some people look at that temper tantrum and think it's something out of the ordinary when it comes to goalies.

A few little things.......

Rangers in Oct. 7-2
Nov. 9-2-1
Thus far Dec. 8-4

In their 8 regulation losses, they've been outscored/destroyed GF 20 -GA 45
Otherwise GF 93- GA 45 +48

Reason why I am stating this is because of the "only" +23 Goal Differential they have.
Comparing it with the Kings at a +38 and the Canucks with a whopping +46
Apparently they've lost many more 1 goal games, coupled with quite a few BLOWOUT wins. The Rangers don't do that often.

From what I've gathered, we have only lost 1 (one) 1 goal game and that was to Edmonton just recently in which it became only 1 goal due to late goal.
Conclusion, when we lose.....we lose badly. Just dont have it that night. Scores of;
1-4, 3-5, 1-5, 3-6, 0-4, 2-6, 3-7 and the Edmonton game.

I do believe that in ALL of those lopsided losses, Shesty was the starter. Just saying.
Wonder how many early and often goals were scored that decided the game early enough, leading to those lopsided scores.

It is common for goalies to slam their stick once against the boards/glass and toss it on their way out, but you must admit Georgiev looks way more unhinged standing there repeatedly swinging it violently lol, and slashing his own dmans legs for screening him in like his 3rd NHL game. You can even see in his performance how wildly inconsistent he was, how he treated Igor etc he’s the biggest headcase of any goalie in the league
