HOLY SMOKES FARABEE! 3-0 FLYERS. f*** VANCOUVER

After seeing the headline on NHL.com, "Vancouver first team to reach 50 points..." I am rooting against Vancouver now. I want us to be that team with less games.

Why are y'all rooting for the Flyers? It's nice having the highest winning % but I'd much rather pad the lead in the Metro. Maybe the Flyers fall apart but maybe they don't.

Some context...I also lived in the Philly metro area for about 15 years and can say that their fans are atrocious. They love their sports teams but being NY sports fan can be brutal in that area.

Anyway, I like Torts but screw the Flyers.

I never really hated the Flyers anyway. I know a few Flyer fans and they are pretty cool with me.

@EdJovanovski is somewhere ordering a pan pizza from Pizza Hut with extra cheese extra pepperoni and a 2 liter of Mountain Dew. To this day I’ll never forget after a bad loss with Georgiev in net you said get this weirdo off my team and it’s always been stuck in my head lmao.

I lived in Philly for a year, a playoff year no less and I think I saw one person who was a Flyers fan.

My original post was more about the fact that Rangers fans were rooting for the Flyers against the Canucks but I admittedly went off on a tangent.

The Philly fans comments were more generic and applicable to all major sports. That being said, I did go watch a Flyers vs Pens game years ago and witnessed fans of each team beating the crap out of each other before the game even started.

I still dislike the Devils and Pens more than the Flyers. The Isles...I just can't take that team seriously. Not sure why but I just find myself laughing as they hack the other team and take their "pound of flesh."

At this point, the Caps and Canes are near the top of my least favorite teams along with the Devils and Pens.
