Wow @ the Pens. Didn't see the piles going up 3-0 in the series and I don't see much with 9:00 left to indicate the Pens have what it takes to turn this game around.
 
am I wrong in thinking if the penguins had beat us in the last game, they would have had home ice advantage and we wouldn't be getting kakko?
 
Only way pens were gonna get back into this game was some odd man rushes. They couldn’t compete with the islanders coverage down low. They smothered them

generally speaking the NHL draft order would be completely different with a different input set to the random number generator.

so the Rangers coulda gotten #2 another 8% of the time or whatever

what we know for sure is Pittsburgh is full of talentless frauds

It would suck if we only saw one good series in the east in the first round. Could be three sweeps or less than 6 game series
 
I think the Islanders lack the real gamebreaking talent to win anything (it's totally bare outside of Barzal) but if Tampa gets knocked off, they certainly have a viable path to the SCF.

If Forsberg stayed healthy he may be considered a top-20ish player, so I guess you could argue his “generational-ness”.

Forsberg was a f***ing monster when he was healthy. If Kakko is that good (not saying he is) we will win a cup while he is here.

yeah, they barely made the playoffs and looked like shit against us. I still think they have a good enough team to compete but they have no fire anymore. They won their 2 cups and now don't care. The Isles on the other hand have a chip on their shoulder the size of Long Island.

If you guys were ever relying on the Pens to take care of the hated Islanders, you were always gonna have a bad time.

You'll just have to root for Washington. I'll pass.

Yeah I was gonna say Forsberg would probably be a generational player if he could have stayed healthy
