Is PPG paints arena the worst named arena in the league? Even with all the other corporate sponsors, that's a bad name.
Corporate naming rights has been a pet peeve of mine for years now.

It looks like no pushback whatsoever from the Penguins. I think their Cup window is closed.

little ceasers says hi!!!

AA Center is my favorite. I bought this t-shirt at the draft last year:

Wow. If only people could have known earlier that Murray was overrated. Such an impossible thing to know beforehand.

:sarcasm: :naughty:

I wonder if a sea change in styles is beginning, back to these in-your-face forechecking teams. The skill & transition teams like Tampa, Toronto, Pittsburgh are having trouble with it. That would be good news for the Rangers, with how Quinn is having them playing.

They won three Stanley Cups in 10 years during a time in the history of the game when most fans will only see one cup or zero cups in their entire lifetimes.

I have no sympathy for the quick and quiet closure of the Penguins' window.

They'll start to stink just in time to get a couple more hall of famers in the draft.

Right now Pens can't handle the energy and in your face style of the Islanders. They are gonna need guys like McCann and their depth guys to compete hard and generate energy.

Crosby and Malkin are still there, the Penguins window isn’t closed until those two decline. Do you not remember us putting them down unceremoniously in 5 games, right before they won back to back cups?

That is true but they were what 26 and 27 years old respectively? I know 32/33 isn't old (their age going into next fall) but they need more depth help for sure. They have lost a lot of picks and younger assets in previous trades.

The pens right now seem to be like a football team going three and out pretty much every down. Barely any forecheck

Yeah, obviously they’re older and there’s a chance they don’t ever win again for sure, but until they’re old and broken I’m not gonna count them out.
